I only buy pirated DVDs for movies that are not being commercially sold here, like WW2 documentaries, Mel Brooks classics and other hard-to-find movies. Occasionally, bumibili rin ng blockbuster films pag hindi ko napanood sa sine.

So in short, halos lahat ng DVDs ko pirated, hehehe.

Dati Quiapo kami bumibili ni misis or Makati Cinema Square, but recently we source our DVDs from Metrowalk. (P65 na ba dun? Last time we were there, P55 lang)

I'm neither a saint nor a hypocrite. I buy pirated DVDs. However, my original collections outnumber them. When I think that the movie is a keeper, I buy the original either from ebay or from the official sites on the net.

Usually my "keeper" collection that I order over the net are car movies like Bullit, the original Gone in 60 seconds 1973 release, Gumball Rally , Italian Job, The French Connection, etc.

I even have the complete season one series of Airwolf . Priceless.

Sometimes I get lucky when I get a Special Collector's Edition copy that has some free literature in the pack.

Not anymore, now that *******'s always available. For really good movies, i make sure i watch it in a movie theater, so no sense buying pirated or downloading anymore.

If ever i'd buy a DVD, it will be an original one, since a lot of good DVD titles are on sale nowadays. Last one i bought is an orig Barney DVD

I used to buy pirated DVDs sa Divi, Star Mall, etc. but
more often than not, I end up being frustrated.

Pag-test kasi nung vendor, OK siya. But when I get
home and play it, it ends up as "bad disc" or it freezes
    up at the middle part.

May mga nagsabi na pag "branded" daw yung DVD player
mo, it won't play pirated DVDs. Yung mga mumurahin na
DVD players (P1,500 or less) which is what the vendors
use to test, can play all kinds of DVDs, pirated or orig.

Is there some truth to this? I just rent na lang sa
Video City, OK lahat ng DVD/VCD nila-walang problema
    sa player ko.

I buy original DVDs if it's a movie I really like... if only to show support for the director and the creative crew that worked on it.

Like M2 says, VCDs are good enough for movies you don't like enough to buy the DVDs to.

I'm not averse, though, to borrowing recorded DVDs of TV shows... it's sort of like bootlegging on your home VCR... public broadcast, baby...

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

nakakahiya man aminin but yes, I buy PDVDs.... hehehe :pirate2:

wala lang just being practical, I'm gonna watch the movie once lang naman so I don't find any reason to spend a lot of money for a single movie....and I consider dvds as a "consumable products" so to speak....but I have several original copies I bought every time I go abroad...but still PDVDs outnumbered the originals...hehehhe

sige sentenced niyo na ako :hang:
