Timex watches are made in the Philippines... The factory is in Baguio, if I am correct. Quality-wise, they are very durable and waterproof in general (good enough for swimming).

Timex watches are nice. They are actually marketed to be durable and sporty. Timex is made in Mactan, Cebu. This is why the price is not that expensive and very reasonable

    proudly made in cebu yan.

i just bought two timex watches. they had a promo last month, buy a watch worth 3000 and up and buy a 2nd watch (among limited choices) for only p500.

i got an evening watch worth 4000 and their expedition with a waterproof leather strap for P500. this is the one i use everyday now, since napasukan ng tubig yung tag ko when i dove. tanga kasi ako, di sa authorized tag center nagpalit ng battery. yan, tuloy, kailangan pala palitan ang mga seals.

but, back to topic. yup, i recommend them, just choose the classic designs, kasi meron din kasi silang pang bagets na designs, di ko trip.

nagkaroon ng ko ng TIMEX watch and it was so durable...but lately i've received 2 timex watches and sad to say...have used it for only a month and it went kaput agad. Brought it to a service center and change batt..but after 2 weeks down na naman...tingin ko kinda grounded yun..ang bilis madrain ng batt. Yung isa ganun din...tanggal din agad yung mga button switches...well giveaways lang naman kase from company ..But still they are carry by the TIMEX brand so dapt okei rin.

Yes, Ok ang quality ng timex. I gave timex to my ex, parang less than 5k ata iyon. Silver yung itsura niya and matibay. more than 2 years ko din nakita sakaniya pero naghiwalay din kasi kami haha!

I'm not sure ngayon kung wala padin siyang bayad.

I received a gift so many years back from my grandfather a Timex quartz watch (expandable bracelet type) which he bought from the US during his vacation, sad to say, the watch stopped working only after about two years after it was given to me. I went to the Timex store here in the Philippines but was told na wala daw silang parts for it. Since then, I always stayed away with that brand, mas okay pa siguro mga Casio watches, its just me though . .

not bashing pero my casio from my h.s. and elementary days is still alive and kicking(still have my very first cellphone n. 3210), while my timex from my h.s.(5k up ant that was already expensive during those days)... boom but since im old already, graduate na ako sa casio

sa timex kasi parang lotto jackpot ang quality but the design is good, pero sa casio, kahit yung entry level model or most expensive maganda ang build quality- ala honda on motorcycle and toyota pick up of watches

seiko is the most frugal timepiece that i wear now.

forgot to add, madami na din akong swatch na nasira since elementary and h.s. -

all my watches was worn but not abused except casio, yan from hunting(airgun) to swiming(salt water) to hiking(di pa sikat hiking mahal pa gamit those time) ayos pa din(damn i miss my h.s. days)- ala pang cell phone panahon na ito cb radio pa lang uso hahahaha

    My chopsuey collection.

I won't forget the day I bought my Timex E-Compass. It was in May 2007... the first thing I bought when Trinoma Mall opened its doors. Since then, I have replaced the battery twice and the watch band once.

The watch has been very reliable. It's not a heirloom watch of course but it gets the job done.
