Wala pa, pero I have been eyeing this from Asus....

Company claims 9.5 hrs battery life. In real world, probably less. If I can get 7 hrs on this thing I'll be happy. Hinihintay ko lang bumaba ang price then yung na save ko pang upgrade ko ng memory.
im using an argon blue umpc. this is not an intel-atom based unit. nakalimutan ko yung processor name nya. 1gb ram, 80 gb dasd, wlan, webcam, winxp. ok lang sya sa akin.... in fat, eto gamit ko ngayon habang nagsusulat netong post na ito.
best thing here is the batter life. 4-5 hours.
cons, masyadong maliit ang screen.
wife has this HP Vivienne 1140NR, its 10 inch, 1.6ghz intel atom, 1gb ram w/ a 60gb HD on a XP home edition. its ok just for internet use, MSword or MSoffice thats all nothing special,i hate using it feels like my hands are all red after using and screen too small for me lol.

I dont have a netbook but I am looking forward in buying this Sony Vaio P ( the smallest 8" inch notebook )
It's about 50k. I know its kinda pricey but I don't know. I think I like it. Not sure though if I'll buy it.
I have the Astone UMPC, 7" touchscreen LCD. No mods. Just installed WinXP. Nadala ako sa P9,995 na pricetag. Pero my wife ends up using it more than I do. Bitin yung screen, so most websites don't fit. Hassle mag scroll left, right, up, down (kahit touch screen).
If I could undo that decision, I would've bought the Lenovo S10 instead. I think it goes as low as 18k at TPC.
my netbook:
Asus Mini 1109TU
ntel Atom N270 1.6GHz / 1GB Memory / 80GB (1.8") Hard Disk Drive / 10.2” Diagonal WSVGA HP Brightview Infinity Display (1024 x 600) / Camera w/ Mic / 10/100 LAN, Wi-Fi & Bluetooth / Windows XP Home / 1.11Kg.
accessories bought:
upgraded to 2Gb - P1k
Intex Retractable Laptop Mouse - P150
CDR-King 10.1" sleeve - P150
Western Digital Passport 250GB - P3K+
Nokia 5300 headset - free
old 2000 laptop leather bag na acer - free
not yet... snooping for one ... maybe in a couple month's i'll have my own

I have seen the actual unit in my visit in taipei, taiwan. Its a good unit with its mac style keyboard.
As for the battery life, the claim is valid because the battery I saw had a capacity rating of 8800 mAh.
My Msi wind U100's 4400 mAh battery gets me 4 to 4.5 hours max.
If price was a major consideration, you could have purchased an Acer Aspire One 8G. Its just P12K to P13K retail and 9inch screen at 1024x600 resolution which is good for web surfing. Downside it only has an 8gig SDD and Linux. But I have had added a 16gig SDHC card to more storage and installed Windows XP on it with no real problem. Windows drivers are available on the web.
My current netbook is a MSi Wind U100+ (black)
Purchased for P21,000 * PC Corner (I used TPC discount). Reg price P22,000.
Intel Atom N280 1.66ghz / 2gig ram / 250gig HDD / six cell battery / 10" LCD
WiFi / webcam / 3 usb ports / vga / sound / mic
MS Windows XP Home SP3
I have ordered a nine cell battery to increase the netbook's battery life.
Cool feature of this netbook is the ability to underclock / overclock the system at will. It's supposed to either increase battery life or increase system performance.
I really want to get one as my macbook pro is a bit heavy. I've seen that Asus will release model 1004DN. This model will have an optical drive. I will wait for this to come out to see if this will fit my basic needs.
Acer Aspire 101A 1st Gen Color blue w/ 120GB HDD, 1.6GHZ Intel Atom, and 1GB Ram, nothing special - just having fun compiling programs coz it's small but terrible. (grin)
I just got my wife a replacement laptop the old Toshiba finally died on her. She keep asking for one of those small ones so this is what i got on ebay for 210 USD shipped.
