    taenang PLDT DSL ito, paputolputol pa rin ang connection. every 10-15min, napuputol, tapos reconnect. akala ko after 1 yr kong pinaterminate yung subscription, magiging ok na yung service nila dito sa amin. hindi na talaga ako natutuo. i'll be stuck with this disservice again for 1 whole year.

    shitty DumbBRO! service was down since Feb 01, maintenance work daw. sabi ko aba, gawan nyo ng paraan.

    i had an important call this morning and too bad wala masyado sense kasi di ko na-receive ang latest email about the topic we agree to discuss.

    kung hindi pa ako nagalit, hindi aayusin ang problema ko. ngayon lang na-restore.

    grrrr ... iwas na talaga kayo sa SMARTBro, este DumbBRO pala. tapusin ko lang Feb at ipa-disconnect ko na ang service.

    maganda na Globe service? taguig area po ako ... thanks

    ako mejo mabagal smartbro ko dito sa office. PLDTDSL ko naman namamatay den every 15 mins. nde nagiimprove ang pldt grabe....

    As posted in the other thread I have no problem with our pldt dsl connection since it was installed august 2005. Patapos na lock-in period of 24 mos this coming August. Contemplating of shifting to Globe if PLDT will not offer lower plan than Globe.

    yung sakin intermittent.. minsan mabilis, minsan bagal naman. pero wala na masyado DC.. tapos na lock-in period ko last december and i plan to switch provider pag di sila nagbaba ng rates. ganda yung promo ng globe;

    995/mo - landline monthly fee + broadband (up to 384 kbps)
    995/mo - broadband only (up to 768 kbps)
    installation fee 2.5k, lock-in period 1 year, pre-activated VoIP...

    Nakita ko rin sa ad sa diyaryo - yung PLDT NxGN.. broadband + landline for only 888/mo.

    Fiber-optics na tumatakbo and claim ng PLDT is almost zero percent daw yung pagda-down.

    Meron na bang nag-avail nito dito and okay ba?

    Available na kaya ito sa Del Monte area sa QC?
    Sabi kasi sa ad may mga areas lang daw na covered.

    I was told that it is not available to most areas here in the Metro but they are still continuing with the roll-out. I am staying in Paranaque and unfortunately we dont have it yet.

    Don't believe na zero percent outage ang NGN, had a couple of nationwide outage since it started operation mid 2006. Eto na yun tanatawag na IP phone. PLDT is phasing out the digital exchange for this new technology kaya wala talaga tayong choice. Naka fiber optics naman talaga from the telephone exchange to the cabinets near your area then after that it's copper all the way. If you want an all fiber connection up to your PC avail of the Fiber to the Home Service, this would at least guarantee you 5mb but will set you back 5,000 thou a month. Eto yun limited lang sa Forbes Park, Dasma, The Fort and Alabang area.

    included na ba lahat ng charges dun sa 888/mo.. landline MSF + dsl + evat? plus free NDD calls for 1 year daw? gaano speed ng dsl?

    Plan 2500 here, almost 3 years running. Very stable connect and generally high speeds.
    Typical weekday dl speed ~200kB/s (1.6Mbps) weekends especially sundays i can get to ~400+kB/s (3.2Mbps).

    Yup. PLDT DSL, Marikina.
    It's the old old residential plan (MyDSL Professional / 2500), from before they even introduced Plan 999 or Plan 3000.

    Downloading iTunes 7.. Medyo mabagal but then *******s are running in the background.

    in fairness to PLDT, ang bilis sumagot ng mga CS nila ngayon, usually 1-2 rings lang may sasagot agad, at most 10 rings. everyday kasi akong tumatawag sa kanila dahil everyday pa rin putol putol connection ko.
