Oct 13, 9:30pm :Contractor finally arrived in the house (after several phone calls to me at the office to find directions. I overheard my Dad saying "kanina pa ako naghihintay dito ..." in the background
11pm : Got an SMS from DumbBRO contractor (sidenote: he uses Klobe HandyPhone, ironic - oh well) and telling me they rehomed my antenna but due to the additional "tubo" they had to use I need to pay P500
What the ... ???
11:30pm : Finally got through CS Hotline, ran after the Supervisor who spoke to me earlier, and boy I lost it ... why? because my poor Dad had no choice but to give him the P500. My folks, retired over 60yrs, needing to hand out money to contractor of DumbBRO, for the "tubo" which should have been there in the 1st place ... 3 months ago when they duped me into signing up with them!
12MN : Got home, had the Supervisor speak with contractor to tell him to return the money to my parents
1230am : Was speaking with the contractor, finding out more horror stories about DumbBRO. They said, my antenna was poorly set up in the 1st place!
The contractorr who set it up originally made "kupit" the pipes and the cables, a normal practice of some contractors that DumbBRO hires!
130am : Managed to regain my cool and explained to the contractor who fixed my problem, that before all of this I am a good person and will seldom pick a fight or raise my voice. Ayoko lang talaga sa buhay ko is when people making me a fool out of me ... we ended up agreeing that we will both bring this to DumbBRO as a formal complaint, since he also acts a consultant to the service provider.
Considering the time and effort they did, I eventually gave them P500 for pizza/beer (sana kasya). A goodwill gesture since finally, I am back online from our home.
