I've been a big fan of "demos" which showcased the capabilities of computers at the time. Two of my favorites......
This one for the Amiga in 1987 is what got me to switch from pc's at the time.
Newtek Demoreel 1. Not bad for something running from 2 floppies:
In 1993, pc's started coming into their own with demos like this one.
