I think all cameras consume a lot of disk space when recording videos... except if they got low quality. I can record on my TX1 videos up to 1 1/2 hours using 640x480 resolution mode using 1GB of memory and i think there is still about 50-100mb left for pictures. It never puts me down except if battery runs out. Hahaha! v^_^v

nice pick...
hay... yung mga small cheap olympus versions, my bro recently got one. 7Mp daw... when I tested it. yung MP ay parang cellphone. akala mo more details, eh bigger image size lang pala... kahit sufficient daylight na.

if you are into really compact P&S, i am also recommending Casio Exilims.
i've used them once before (yung 3.2 MPX lang), and they are excellent. Excellent din and big yung LCD, excellent battery life, and super thin and compact.

i have an S2IS for a year to me, the shutter malfunctioned.. canon quoted me 11k for the repair, di ko na tinuloy parepair sayang pera...
