Have noticed that there are two types of Google Chromecast 2.0 being sold online ... One has rounded edged box which sells for 2,300.00 and the other has square edged box selling for 1,500.00 ... Is the cheaper one legit or just a copy / imitation?

September 24th, 2016 09:33 PM #6If it's a fake, proprietary services won't work (Netflix, etc). So, if you require those, better be sure that's it's a legit Chromecast. There's a big chance that it's not legit, it's too cheap..
One option to consider is to get it from Globe. I got mine free after recontracting.
