Total idiot when it comes to cellphones, what's out there that offers wifi and 3g that's relatively inexpensive (price range of N73/K810/E61 etc.)

'Veed,
Check out the Nokia E61i. Been drooling over this phone and am looking to get one for its do-everything connectivity. It's priced around Php22k sa Nokia Stores.
kung hindi ka naman maselang sa size.. The cheapest phone would be p990i. I think 14K ata ang price ngayon with sony warranty pa. Just make sure to get the lastest firmware, medyo stable naman siya ngayon (unlike previous complain). Just don't multi-task and your phone will be ok.
nokia 6120 classic runs on symbian 60 3g/hsdpa but no wifi, i think around 12k range to
yup p990i, has wifi 3g, can edit microsoft word, powerpoint, phone pad, qwerty and touch screen input, 2mp cam, music playing capabilities of SE w series
E61i brand new sells for around 19k sa greenhills. slightly used goes around 16k. it's a good phone lalo na pag may truphone (voip).
Try yung LG-KU250. It's around Php6+++ (at Globe) with 3G, Bluetooth and expandable memory.

The Nokia N80.
has 3G and WiFi. Runs on Symbian S60 and can view word, excel and powerpoint files. 3mp camera with LED flash. Also feature IR, bluetooth, USB, FM radio and MP3 playback capabilities.
Current price is around P16K.
if you're looking for both features... 3G & WiFi.... take Nokia N80...
N80 actual price as of now (09/18/2007) is Php17,590 here in Nokia Store Glorietta 3 Digital Exchange. Their E65 is Php18,500.
Both of them have 3G and WLAN capabilities. The difference is N80 to have a secondary VGA camera for Video calls while E65 doesn't. But E65 has VoIP over WLAN and office applications. N80 has 3MP camera and E65 having only 2MP.
Not sure if this would mean much to you, the N80 can only view office documents while the E65 can view and edit. For me i find it hard to manipulate office documents on a series 60 user interface (keypad/multi-tap), not like the UIQ series (P990i) or the ones with qwerty keypads (Nokia Communicators like 9500, E90, etc.).
IMHO nothing beats the SE p990i, for its price you get 3g/wifi. Its a decent phone if you can get over the size. I just took out the external keypad and use the qwerty. Hard to sms while driving though.
N80 also has wifi, im just not a fan of sliders, they get loose and creak after a while.![]()
I don't know about your experience with sliders but my N80 is still as creak-free and smooth as the day i got it. I bought it slightly more than one year ago. It even survived a bad fall from my pocket to the pavement when I was running after the tram when I was in Guam a few months ago.

yup. the cheapest is N61 yung walang camera. although i think, wala ng brand new na lumalabas ngayon, second hand costs around 8-9k.
kung gusto mo brand new, P990i. around 13-14k.
N92 for me... May promo Smart 19,990 ang prepaid... May option ka pa mag myTV...
If you check Nokia's developer website, reason for slow performance of N80s are due to its slow CPU rated at 200Mhz... P990 also has that CPU speed... N92s have Dual CPUs rated at 220Mhz... The fastest Nokias are the E90s and N95s with Dual CPU rated at 370Mhz plus a 3D accelerator. No wonder Nokia re-launched N-Gage as a gaming platform for their new Handsets.
