    if i needed one,
and this item is in decent physical condition naman,
    and works as designed,
    i'd get it.
my needs are simple. i don't need to see the actors' skin pores naman.
32 is fine. 40s is ok. 50s is too big for the area i'll put it on.

first thing i'll do when it gets home, is to have it sanitized DIY using 70% alcohol.
    and don't forget the remote!
    heh heh.

This is from Disney+ facebook group.

Para sa mga nagkakaissue gamit ang Strong Leap S1 sa Hisense TV... eto step by step procedure. This troubleshooting procedure might be applicable sa ibang brand na TV, for sure.

    Disney+ FullHD 1080p
    Hisense smart TV
    Strong Leap S1 Android box

    Steps:
    1. Download “Downloader by AFTVnews” App from Google app store.

    2. After downloading Downloader App, sa address bar ng downloader, type mo "tv.aptoide.com" then scroll down mo. Click Download Aptoide TV.

    3. May lalabas na Downloader pop up window. Choose SETTINGS. May lalabas sa right side na INSTALL UNKNOWN APPS. Scroll down and look for DOWNLOADER. Select ALLOWED.

    4. Kapag may lumabas na block play protect, choose "install anyway".

    5. Tapos, kapag nadownload mo na Aptoide app, add mo na yung Aptoide TV app sa menu mo by clicking plus + sign tapos choose Aptoide TV.

    6. From Aptoide TV, download “Disney+” app ( Hindi yung Disney+ Hotstar) yung Disney+ na madaming poster na movies, yung pangalawa atang option.

    Verify issue resolved - Yes!

bakit ang mura ng TV ngayon

    kasi may kalaban ang TV

many people watch content on phones

    --

di pwede siga mag presyo mga TV manufacturer ngayon

1st, there are more TV manufacturers than ever before

2nd, many people aren't buying TVs

meron naman phone / tablet / laptop / desktop

3rd, TV manufacturers can make money from something else --> preinstalled apps

since most TVs now are smart TVs

app developers pay TV makers for installing the apps

TV makers also make money by selling advertising space on the apps

TV makers also make money from data collected from users

kaya halos pinamimigay ang TV ngayon

in the old days printer manufacturers sell printers at a loss to make money from ink cartridges

the cheap Skyworth 32" TV in the kitchen just lost its backlight. probably just needs a backlight driver board but it's a hassle to fix but instead of getting another $hitty TV with garbage TN panel i went for a computer monitor instead. AOC 27" with IPS panel. P6600 only. it's quite big for a 1080p so the pixels are huge but that's OK my chromecast is 1080p anyway

Also TV prices fell have China and SKorea brands to thank for. Prices during 2010 when Japanese brands still dominated the market were quite high. Nowadays there's only Sony though it's screen are not even Japanese that's wholly Japanese owned that's left in the Market.

Samething happened with Android smartphones and soon with cars...

Pleasantly surprised that TCL upgraded my pre-pandemic TV's firmware from plain Android to AndroidTV. I lost hope na may update sya kasi based on the FW version it looked like a PH branch that will never be updated. New FW fixed a lot of bugs and performance improvement is very noticeable.

Devant and TCL seems worth it for the affordable brands.

Best alternative sa Sony, tingin ko is TCL, kapag dito ka sa Pilipinas.. Sony, TCL and Hisense ang merong Google TV..
At kung physical store ka bibili either Abenson or SM, sila makakausap mo sa warranty (replacement for brand new).. Maayos yung mga updates ni TCL sa user interface nya.. Kaya kahit luma na ang model, mabilis pa din ang performance, baka dahil sa partnership nila sa Google TV..

"We are excited to partner with TCL to bring Google TV to customers around the world. Google TV is a more helpful and delightful TV experience that helps users find the content they love," said Shobana Radhakrishnan, Senior Engineering Director, Google TV.

Our Sharp 32" in LED TV conked out na. The same model is still available at Anson's for P8,898 but this is the 3rd one over many years and I think it's sirain. I have good experience with Hisense (lasted us 7 years)

    Sharp 2T-C32CB1M 32in LED TV - Ansons

Next size is 43" and all smart tv so I am choosing among Hisense, Devant and Skyworth. It will be used with regular cable TV and maybe will learn how to use Netflix? Which is the most durable brand?

    Hisense 43A4GS 43in Smart TV
    Vidaa U Operating System
    Enhanced Color Imaging
    Netflix / YouTube
    ₱14,800

    Hisense 43A4GS 43in Smart TV - Ansons

Devant 43STW101 43in Full HD webOS TV
FREE Devant SWS-01B Soundwave Speaker worth ₱4,450
    webOS Operating System
    ThinQ Voice Command
    Dolby Digital Plus
    ₱14,800

Devant 43STW11 43in Full HD webOS TV - Ansons

    Skyworth 43STD4000 43in Smart TV

Devant seems to be a reliable brand based on how many I see using them.

Thanks. I watched reviews on Smart TVs and now I am thinking if I should just buy the exact same regular LED because my Mom only uses cable TV so she might get confused with a Smart TV?
