Has anyone tried this Coocaa brand at Lazada? It's so cheap!
I don't want a smart tv but I can't find regular LED TV's anymore
This is another option. I prefer regular non smart TV because it's my Mom that will use this TV

I just checked Anson's online and wala na rin sila models for 40~43" LED TV at around the 10k/12k price.
Not sure sa actual stores nila kung may mga natitira pa.
A few months ago when I was looking for an LED TV for my daily use also, I specifically looked for FHD only at no more than 43".
I think for Full HD resolution, a maximum of 43" would be the sweet spot. Kung nasa 50" na you'd gain the benefit of 4K already.
And then yung space din kasi medyo alanganin na for >50" (though having buyer remorse now seeing these cheap 50/55 inch TVs).
Medyo nahirapan nga rin ako coz at that time pulos UHD 4K na mga TV ang available, sometimes even at 43".
Preferred ko rin na may built-in ISDB-T tuner na para wala nang set top box like TV Plus or Affordabox.
Well, nakakuha naman ako with almost all my preference and also within my budget. 2nd hand na nga lang sa FB marketplace.
Almost brand new pa rin naman for 13K and I think di pa nga natanggal most of the plastic covers.
If you can stretch pa your budget further, why not get a branded TV instead?

That's down from SRP of Php18,695.00 already.

You can check the Abensons website for TVs
The cheapest 43 is around 15k, a name brand is around 18-20
Last October, I got a Hisense 43” Smart Full HD LED TV (43A4GS) for 16k from Ansons.

Sa website kasi not much choices. Where do you usually go? Link or Cash and Carry?
Yup very few choices online. Also, I just want a regular TV NOT a smart TV. My budget is only P10k, maybe up to 12k ngaI will replace my Mom's TV e she only watches cable lang naman.
Ayoko na kasi ng Samsung, Sony and Sharp. Hisense ni recommend sakin dati sa Tsikot and it lasted naman pero they don't have a regular LED TV na saka parang nagmahal na rin. I'm not sure if Coocai was recommended na rin. I can't find the thread anymore
Thanks I haven't checked Abenson's
Wala na atang dumb TV ngayon because smart TVs are already cheap, I think it's standard na. I know because yan din hanap ko para mas mura nga. Anyway, I bought a 49 Sony android TV for 20k at Anson's so I think 43s at 10k shouldn't be hard to find, especially with brands like TCL, Skyworth and Devant. Thing about smart TVs is sa YouTube pa lang solved na kami. Maybe it's because we have short attention span na lang ngayon.
Ansons sa Link or ATC lang usually namin pinupuntahan.
LG yung preferred choice ko for TVs. My 12-year-old LG 50” Plasma is still working. It’s not yet a Smart TV but I placed it as a monitor for the playing consoles of my daughter.
For 10k to 12k, sure Mayrun mga Smart TV options na. Most likely 32” lang eto. Yung mga non-Smart TV these days are those smaller than 32”.

Try to check TCL baka may regular LED TV model sila.

Not sure where I read it, but if you're looking for dumb tvs, usaully 32" or smaller. daw Bigger ones, smart tv na.
I have a 43" HiSense LED TV with You Tube and Netflix. Not so dumb but not really that smart.
At Full HD resolution, this is just right by me watching SD/HD content, like DVD, Live TV or cable.
The TV doesn't have to do much upscaling so less artifacts and it looks hi-def enough.
That's the technical viewpoint although my Xiaomi 65" 4K UHD TV do a decent job of it.
At this time, medyo mahirap na rin talaga humanap ng really dumb basic TV larger than 32".
And if as Cathy said wala naman yata masyadong movie watching na magaganap 32" may suffice already.
Still, 40~43" would probably be the sweet spot for a general use TV nowadays.
32" would be the equivalent of the 13" TVs in the CRT age as 21~25" is already considered big screen TV then.![]()
It does look like 32" is the smallest size for dumb TVs![]()
Nobody recommends that I try the coocaa brand from Lazada? I don't recall which thread but a member had rave reviews about his coocaa. If I will buy at Anson's, I want hisense sana. We have 2 sharp TVs both defective na rin
You can buy a computer monitor and those go even smaller. It will only work if your cable provider uses one of those boxes like Sky. Most monitors come with an HDMI input.
The only non-smart tvs in abensons

Here's a HiSense TV - the HiSense 43A4GS 43" Smart TV.
I guess this would be your best bet sans availability of any >40" dumb TV.
This is Full HD already and has built-in ISDB tuner for local broadcasts.
SRP is at Php17,500 in most stores but is Php16,800 in Western Marketing.
