    grabeh! CDR-King mag-offer ka na ng Touchscreen HU with GPS/DVD/MP3/XVID/MP4/USB/SD

    para kahit san CDR-KIng pede ako magbalik hehehe

    interestingly, yun HotToyz dun sa tipidpc na may pwesto sa St. Francis Square nagbebenta na ng China made HU's, 9,500 yun pinakmababa nya. kaka-tempt na eh kaya lang HoToys is laptop repair tapos benta ng China made HU

    Meron na nga sila na e-book reader aside from the laptop pc. it's not a far jump to android tablets.

    pag gumawa ng produkto dito mas mataas ang puhunan kesa gumawa ng produkto sa China

    pag gumawa ng sariling produkto ang CDR King dito magiging mahal ang selling price, mas mahal pa kesa sa mga parehong produkto na mabibili nila sa China

    Yeah that's why manufacturing is dead here... Even with duties and taxes its still cheaper overall to import from China lalo na with economies of scale...

    And more importantly SAKIT NG ULO or the lack of it of just straight importation of finished goods... Alam mo naman ang local labor force very spoiled and for businessman a headache...

    less headache talaga mag import

    you need less people compared to manufacturing

    more employees = more headache

    You said it.

    I knew someone who was manufacturing certain items locally until a worker's strike happened. After a couple of weeks, he just declared bankruptcy.

    Later, he started a new company importing the same/similar items he was manufacturing before. All he needed was some cheap warehouse space, a few delivery trucks and a handful of people to operate. Bigger profits, less headaches.

    kesa sa mag manufacture

    di ka na magtatayo ng factory, mag source ng raw material, bumili ng equipment, mag pasweldo ng maraming tao, katakot takot na business/mayor/barangay/environmental etc etc permit permit na yan,

    mapasok ka pa ng union, dami sakit sa ulo...

    e ang import, kelangan mo lang ng opisina, ilan ***y na staff, warehouse, ilan tao sa warehouse, operator ng forklift, driver ng delivery truck... yan na...

    mas madali ang buhay ng importer

    wala ka gagawin kundi sumagot ng telepono para tumanggap ng order...

    deliver tapos collection...

    maghintay ng dating ng container van...

    Ung mga kilala ko importer halos di na kelangan pumasok sa opisina... puro bilin lang sa sekretarya.

    e kung may ari ka ng pabrika, whole day ang trabaho mo... hands on talaga...

    Araw araw may problema...
