August 25th, 2003 08:54 PM #2I just bought an IXUS Powershot S400. The performance is OK for family and leisure use. What I like about this camera is that you can shoot at low light (even at night) without the flash. The downside -- short battery life.

August 25th, 2003 09:11 PM #4Beefy:: I suggest you visit the Canon website for product specs. No, the camera doesn't have an MPEG. IMO, Canon won't produce cameras with MPEGs as audio is not their forte, but you bet, they are very good at producing optics.
