    I just bought an IXUS Powershot S400. The performance is OK for family and leisure use. What I like about this camera is that you can shoot at low light (even at night) without the flash. The downside -- short battery life.

    How short? Does it have a timer? Is it mpeg capable like sony?

    Beefy:: I suggest you visit the Canon website for product specs. No, the camera doesn't have an MPEG. IMO, Canon won't produce cameras with MPEGs as audio is not their forte, but you bet, they are very good at producing optics.

    ixus ata yung midstream models nila.. while the Axx models are the baseline.. and the Sxxx models are the highends...

    pm blackmagic, nagbebenta siya ng digital cams and eveything.

    and also try our search engine, we have an existing thread about digicams

    i use nikon coolpix 3100

    ok naman ang kuha ng canon ixus V3, just came from singapore and malaysia, ok naman yun mga kuha sa camera ko, comparable to my nikon coolpix 4300, actually yun dalwang camera dala ko, and parehong ok naman ang quality ng pictures, the only advantage of my canon over my nikon is yun batterry life mas matagal maubos ang canon based on my experince....'coz nikon ko low batt na and yet my canon is still holding up, actually hanggan ngayon pag uwi ko hinde pa low batt ang canon ko, while my nikon drain na.....

    singapore 29K pesos comes with many freebies. hope the sky is clear tonight, makuhanan ang planet mars.

    sir linkk, saan niyo nabili sa Singapore yun cam niyo? andyan ako last week just arrived yesterday, baka bumalik ako next month..saan ba maganda mag shopping, btw, naghahanap ako ng lacoste shop wala akong nakita sa mga malls, nakabili lang ako ng polo sa airport na nung pauwi na ako, ang mga napuntahan ko lang kasi is yun mga malls along orchard roads, and I've been to beach road, arab st., bali lane, to look for fishing stuff, ok naman at marami akong nakitang tackle shops doon...thanks

    shopping? yan ang madami dito shopping malls. depende sa bibilhin mo, kung electronics/computer stuff sa sim lim square/tower , china town,mustafa ka pupunta pero kung gusto mo pang makamura daming neighborhood electronics shops dito at pwede ka pang tumawad. sapatos mura din dito sa queensway shopping center. fishing stuff/ lacoste shop hmmm, no idea tanong ko muna sa friends ko dito.

    Hi Guys,

    Baka mayron sa inyong soft copy ng manual ng Canon PowerShot S1 IS Digital Camera. Sinanla kasi sa akin ng pinsan ko to e wala syang naibigay na manual. Gusto ko lang kasing paganahin yung Flash nya. Hindi ko kasi makapa kung paano i-activate yung Flash Mode. Thanks in advance.

    yung flash nun nasa upper left side...yung parang kidlat after nung timer. malapit sa harness.
