I just bought a Network Attached Storage. To access it, I need to open My Network Places and locate the NAS. Can I just assign a drive letter to it so it will be accessible using My Computer?

My Computer > Tools > MAP Network Drive >
Choose a drive letter then put the address of the NAS in the "folder" section.
Click finish.
You should now see a drive letter of your NAS in your My Computer.
BTW, you can also do this with the subfolders of the NAS.
