buying a desktop PC is not an option right now as I move a lot. And I've just bought a laptop so buying a desktop would cost me. maybe an alienware gaming laptop could solve that.

Well, just because a pc version of a game may have higher detail than a console's version doesn't mean the latter is bad. In fact, the console's version is quite good, especially if it's native 1080p or even 720p depending on how well-made the game is.

That's why I too will eventually buy a PS3. If game makers made keyboard and mouse control a standard option (for fps and rts games), I too would've moved almost totally to consoles. The only reason for gaming on a pc would be flight sims.

As for a gaming laptop, I prefer the 16" ASUS G60vx with its GTX 260M/4gb ram/320gb 7200rpm SATA hard drive. It's $999 at Best Buy. Granted, it's effective resolution is 1280x800 (higher on an external display). But, it's good enough for me

There's no such thing as cheating when using different controllers. But, I prefer Sony and other developers simply supporting keyboard and mouse use with the PS3. After all, the usb ports are already there and keyboard use is supported for internet use. Something like this or any keyboard and mouse:

It'll be out for the Wii as well. I'm not sure if my kid will play it. I might.

The light gun chassis might actually be useful for this one.

5 more headshots to go for my Fall camo for my .50 riffle and it's only my 8th day of owning the game :-)

Ganda talaga ng netcoding ng game na ito (speaking of 360). How about for PS3 and PC owners ok ba netcoding ng MW2 sa console ninyo?

I get 3-4 bars all the way on the PS3 (50mbps connection), no lag whatsoever even while downloading *******s on the same network. matchmaking is also a breeze compare to Uncharted 2 (PS3) and Gears of War (Xbox360 - Jp Xbox live). But I suck with the controller and I don't have the same reflexes or "twitch" I had when playing with a mouse keyboard combo when playing CS back in the day. I did improve my KD ratio tho, but I'm waaaay down in the rankings.

I love to camp, It's the only way I get kills and get a decent KD ratio instead of running and gunning (yeah, I suck

). What would be the best perks for assault rifles?

I'm looking at deep impact (the perk where the bullets goes through walls) but I don't know which weapons work best with this perk. Since I suck at aiming I just gonna shoot from the hip and spray them with bullets and hopefully hit them somewhere

Well that explains it mabilis yan because of the 50mpbs. What I'm curious is for Pinas based players who have 512kbps-1mbps connections.

Correction hindi pa pala fall camo kundi Red Tiger pa lang pala. I just noticed it awhile ago while playing. Papunta pa lang ako sa Red Tiger.

May bago akong trip ngayon and that is using the shield. Kakaaddict mag shield plus shotgun!

I play with other players with red bars (most are from india judging from their accent and some from europe), no lag. I played with one pinoy who has 3 bars but I guess he's US-based. there was one time when the server is closed for maintainance though, other than that no problems at all.

Oh, I've just ordered Fragnstein (mouse+nunchuck combo) controller from Bannco.

I think this will also come in handy when Bioshock 2 and other FPS comes out. I'm thinking of buying Killzone 2 in the coming holidays.

The lowest point in console fanboyism is when people start to compare "netcodes" or whatnot.

As mentioned earlier, It's a matter of preference on which platform you play on.

well you can label me a fanboy but the reason why I'm asking these questions is because I'm a trivia junkie. feedbacks are also good for gamers based in the third world because of connectivity issues.

the pinoy who had 3 bars can also be residing in Pinas because Pinas has a direct route to Japan especially if he/she's using PLDT.
