I dont think they have one in the phils...but you can save money with your long distance to and from your dad (as long as they have broadband internet)...

get him another vonage....give him a local number (same area code as you).....send the box to your dad.......and you can call each other 24 hours a day......no long distance call since you both (virtually) in the same area codes......cool huh?

wow, super cool. Have you tried this yet?

Si Dr. Phil Kho may gamit na equiptment where you dont have to pay any subscription fee ($24.00) nakalimutan ko lang ang brand name. The good thing about Dr. Phil's equiptment is that you dont necessarily need two equiptment to call each other.

The equiptment can be purchased for $250.00 yata.

Well..basically, if you subscribe to vonage....you can choose an area code....(say 718)....get 2 boxes ($24x2 per month)......send the other box to the philippines - plug it to a broadband (which is a requirement), your virtual phone number go with you since voice travels online......so you have a 718 phone here in the US..... another 718 phone located in the phils....when you call each other, it is treated as a local call.....so for additional 24 bucks, you can basically call to and from the philippines 24/7.

Plus, they (philippines) can call the US and Canada free (included in the 24 buck plan).

Wow, that really works airshaq20. Pero Local Calls are only possible between the two numbers, correct?

however, ang sipura (brand name) you are NOT limited to calling the other person with another vonage box. With Sipura, you can call anyone FREE anywhere in the world. And there's no monthly subscription fee aside from your broadband internet. 512kbps connection is highly recommended.

Sipura ang gamit na brand ni Doc Phil Kho.

Kahit cellphone? Wow...where do i get one.........

With the vonage 24 buck plan..kasama don unlimited calls to US and Canada, kahit anong area code.....and you can bring the box anywhere in the world basta may broadband.....the catch is....yung monthly bill, you have to have a US billing address....saka mura lang yung box...minsan may promo sila (free first month and free after rebate yung box)......

by the way, you can also call regular land line, cell phone or any phone with the vonage.
