    Canon printer - P2500
    ICS - P2000
    INK - P250 per bottle (four colors) = P1000
Total Cost = P5500 plus void printer warranty.

Epson L100 Ink Tank System Printer = P5,500 with 1 year warranty
-includes TWO extra black ink bottles

Epson L110 Ink Tank System Printer = P5,795 with 1 year warranty
-faster than L100 (from experience, worth the extra few pesos in price)
GH, musta ang printing speed ng Epson L110?
Gusto ko din niyan kasi. Kaso baka naman sobrang bagal.
Comparable ang bilis sa mga HP printers? Yung HP kasi kahit low end mabilis mag print.

The L110 is comparable to HP printers when printing in normal mode.

But in fairness to the L100, the L100 "normal" print quality is equal to the L110 in "high quality" mode.

IMHO for home users that dont print often, HP is the best in the long run. if you dont print often, there is a larger chance of ink solidifying and clogging. if you cannot unclog/clean it then your printer is a paperweight.

HP has replacable ink heads so a clogged nozzle can be replaced easily

Yeah but that means you have to spend P400 to P500 for a new cartridge when you just want to print a page or two.

Advantage of laser, no ink clogging issue even if you leave the printer un-used for a year.

It llooks like a 3rd party setup. That means the cartridge still needs to be replaced periodically...

Found these cheap laser printers in Villman. Anyone with experience on these printers?

Samsung colored laser printer is tempting but I need to know toner availability and service warranty.
    Php9,984

HP and Canon are mono-chrome laser printers.

I have a bad experience on CISS. Maybe due to bad workmanship and quality.
But wifey and I are aiming for a laser printer to avoid clogging of printer heads. We really don't print that much kasi.

*GH, have you had any problem with your Epson L series? I'm waiting for my laser to conk out. It consumes more than 1,000 watts. saw the flyer of Epson L and discovered it only consumes 10 Watts printing.

    1. Can it be compared to a laser print? We print a lot of legal docs and reports at home so print quality is a top priority.

    2. If it's not up to par with laser, I'd probably still get one as a back up printer. Does it clog if it's not used for quite some time?

Would have been great if L350 also has a doc feeder like the L550 as we also digitize legal documents at home which is very taxing when using a standard scanner.

We are using one L100 and one L110 printers in our office for color prints. Main difference between the L100 vs L110 is the speed of print. In normal mode prints, the L110 is about twice faster than the older L100 model. Compared to laser printers, the L1XX printers are slow. Print quality is good and sharp with no blots or smears.

The longest we do not use the printer is only during long holidays (long weekends, holy week or the like). So far the printer can remain clog free. But there are rare times when the head can get clogged even overnight. I just run the cleaning cycle once to a few times until the test print shows it's back to 100%. So far, clogging happens less than once every two months in our usage.

With the L1XX series just be careful when pulling out paper jams because it can damage the paper feeder mechanism. Just go slow when pulling out jams. So far our L100 got damaged in that way but it was repaired under warranty (cost free) at the service center but it took almost a month before I got it back.
