question lang before i go in and make a purchase.
i am using kasi a video card na naka integrate sa MOBO. ang napansin ko, hindi ako makapaglaro ng high graphic games (like NBA 08).
since i will also be purchasing a "legal" copy of Call of Duty 4 and Brothers in arms, ano ba magandang video card na pwede kong iinstall? Dapat ata at least 256 MB ang capacity.
mga magkano?
thanks.

May 21st, 2008 12:38 PM #2pci-express or agp? if your system is relatively new and you plan to play cutting edge games in the near future then i suggest you go for directx 10 capable cards, at least 512 mb ddr2 or ddr3 or vram. that won't be cheap believe me.
i bought a pci express ati radeon x1650 512 mb ddr2 for around 2000 pesos. it's cheap and works well. the nvidia 8 series has good cards too, 8800, 8600, worth checking out.

May 21st, 2008 01:34 PM #4^ the 8500 is ok, direct x 10 capable though it lags behind other older video cards. it's around 2,500 i believe. when it was benchmarked it was far behind the 8600 gts... but of course the price difference has to be considered.
the nvidia 7300 gt 128 bit 512 ddr2 is another option, around 2000 pesos.

pci, yung mas wide ang slot. like the 80's video cards. Agp, yung naging majority standard sa pentium III-IV generations.
yung can have prices idea sa rsun.com.ph (our sponsor ) or tipidpc.

PCI-E or PCI-Express is a computer expansion card interface set to replace the general purpose PCI expansion interface and AGP graphics card interface
it is commonly found in newly release computer system having the support for PCI-E
AGP or Accelerated Graphic port is a high speed point to point channel connecting the videocard and motherboard, and is successor is PCI-E
in changing or installing a videocard you must know what videocard interface you have to avoid waste of time and money.. check the specs of your MoBo the buy the correponding parts you nees
Why do you want it removed? Sa Sport version ba ito?
