June 17th, 2007 04:59 PM #3The forthcoming asus eee 701PC. It is actually a sub-notebook with 7" LCD. (Some sites are reporting a 10" version.) Projected prices range from $200 to $300. If it comes equipped with the announced specs, it should suffice for most usage - surfing, email, spreadsheet, word processing, IM, movies via USB-DVD or flash drives.

June 18th, 2007 04:34 AM #9among the choices of the threadstarter, i'd go with twinhead laptops...had first hand experience with it and it performs like any branded laptops. We're still using our twinhead laptop which was bought 3 years ago. Ang diprensya lang ngayon is nawala sa alignment ung internal DVD drive kaya hirap magbasa ng DVDs/CDs, pero aside from that, it still works perfectly
