What's the best and cheapest 4-in-1 (Print, copy, scan, fax) laser printer? My Samsung SCX-4521F can't scan/copy anymore.

HP pa in IMO. Madami pa nakakaalam ayusin, nagmura na din prices ng ink pero the best yung refill ka na lang. Madalai lang naman. Kapag kelangan i-troubleshoot, dami din DIY na makikita sa net.

Kung single color (black), I think brother MCF series is good enough (this is what we have now). The toner cost around 3k or less. The initial toner included in the purchase is not full capacity pero lumagpas naman sa two paper reems (so more than 1000pages) of printing bago pa naubos.
Merun din etong continous feed for multiple sheet page scanning which comes in very handy sa bulk scanning works. It can also save in jpeg and pdf format. Resolution is very good and can be set to different levels.
I haven't tried to set it to "draft" mode printing para lalong maging mas matipid pag text printing lang (I used to do this set-up sa HP laser printer ko dati. Nainis lang ako sa HP dati kasi hassle ang service center nila sa Buendia (pinaghintay ako ng two hours sa queue para lang sabihin na iiwan ko ang unit ko at babalikan na lang - potek!!!).

Hindi kaya with fujixerox, you'll be tied up with your supplier?
Anyway, to continue the discussion. Been working on IT/Telco/Software Eng' companies for more than a decade na and majority HP printers ang gamit.
Now, gusto ko lang maiba, i tried a friends' suggestion on brother and samsung printers
1. Brother MFC-J6910DW -multi function printer, print-scan-copy-fax, (duplex printing also), max size a3. Mag 1yr na this month (24k ata bili ko) and printed around 30k pages na, print head is still ok. Small office with max 6 users. I used the extended cartridge (no cis available) LC73 (700 ata yun kit, 4 cartridges) the around ink 100+/color. LAN/Wifi ready, madali lang setup. Can print direct from android cp/tablet.
** pero yun mga puti naming bossing, nilalait eto, "that's the slowest printer i ever seen" lol despite it's spec on paper: 35ppm draft/monochrome, 27 colour. And dahil sa sarcasm nila, i bought
2. Samsung ML-2165W (monochrome laser, wifi printer + android phones can print direct), price was around 4k+ , 22ppm on specs. Wifi can only be setup thru pc+usb cable, when done pwede na unplug and people on the network can print na. 1wk old as of the moment.....
For a big/small office or house setup, hanap ko lagi is network/wifi ready para can work independently.
Worst experience naman with HP laser printer, kapag palitin+bugbog na - bumigay yun heat rollers (eto yun nagluluto nun powder ink, imo), it's either nangungulubot yun papel sa sobrang init, or hindi luto yun ink - kakalat yun print kapag nawakan mo. Circa 2000 pa yun model nito, hehe no idea with the new models na.

Current models of HP laserjet printers are better than that. My only bad experience with HP laserjet printers in the last decade was the failure of a paper sensor which resulted in the printed stopping after printing just one page (assuming you are printing two or more pages). I tried servicing printer assuming the sensor was just dirty but no improvement. I brought it to a service center but they said the model is already obsolete and the required module would cost half the price of the printer new (at the time, around P10k). In the end, I just bought a newer model HP laserjet which actually costs around P8K when I bought it.
Given the low prices of Brother and Samsung Laser printers, I am sure to try one soon if I have buy another printer for the office.
