    mag raraid daw sa sept 16 ung microsoft at pnp ng shops to check kung licensed ung windows na gamit.

    pano kung hindi ka magopen ng shop mo on sept 16? pwede ba silang mag forced entry sa shop mo?

    Unless na meron silang search warrant na tinutukoy mismo yung pangalan ng shop mo na ire-raid. Pero kung wala namang search warrant, malamang maghahanap lang sila ng mga "caught-in-the-act" na mga shops kaya pag ganun ang diskarte nila, ligtas yung shop mo kung nakasara.

    oplan crackdown ata ang tawag nila dito, nabasa ko sa dyaryo NBI+OMB+BSA+PNP.


    pero nde lang i-cafe ang naka-indicate, pati call centers, telecommunications, lahat ng biz na may computers, in fact pati yun mga RTW sa malls na may POS na gumagamit ng MS OS.

    yup nabasa ko na rin iyan sa The Phil. Star Business Section noong August 17, 2005...tama si oldblue, di lang internet cafe target nito kundi pati mga big companies...

    sa palagay nyo sino mas uunahin nila? yung maliiit na shops or yung mga big companies na mahihirapan sila?... meron kasi isang napakalaging financial insitution dito sa atin na di pa licensed mga OS nila pero kapag narinig mo family name ng may ari eh mahihirapan ang NBI, PNP, Phil Anti-Piracy Team at Optical Media Board na banggain ito....

    yup, its true... magkaka-raid daw sa sept 16. pero uunahin daw mga internet cafe...
    pero may proposal na daw ang mga internet cafe owners na payagan na ang 1 orig OS to 10 computers...(1:10) para di naman sila mahirapan... i dont know kung papayag ang microsoft... may hinihingi yata silang numbers of internet cafe to sign up sa proposal na yun... mga 3000 shops ata dapat ang pumirma...

    There was a meeting for shop owners, area shop owner federation representatives, reps from mobius, level-up, trantra, etc today...

    hmmmm, may mga kilala pa naman ako sa BSA.

    when i was still in a law firm, i also worked with the IP division and we did conduct raids on counterfeit retailers and manufacturers. kaya lang at that time, puro trademark infringement cases involving lacoste, sony, general electric, to name a few
