    Radar gun detection. Depends on the operator. If the operator keeps it turned on and pointing on the road, radar detectors will detect it at 500 meters or further. BUT if the operator does a POP method, like pop-up for a few seconds then puts the radar gun down or turns the emitter OFF, then the radar detector will not detect it until its pointing at you. This has happened to me along NLEX driving to CLARK. Good thing I was at 95kph when my detector alarm triggered. I saw the radar operator sitting behind the median metal crash barrier. Almost got me then.
