I beg to disagree Jun. I think the new taskbar is way more efficient than in XP. Sa XP if you open up a lot of Windows its hard to re-organize and becomes a clatter. Apparently 7 took a lot of cues from OSX in terms of window management...

for me, I'd hope the taskbar uses text like xp and arrangable like windows7.

I think both are not better than each other. though nasanay na ako sa windows7 sa icons. but if you have new programs running, it will be confusing at first... worst if the icons keep changing per versions.

It figures. I don't like the OSX Dock either.

But, I liked being able to relocate toolbars on the desktop (here on the right). Object Dock made it less needed for me. But, it was a feature I liked.

    Have you tried compatibility mode?

My ancient circa 1998 Hauppage WinTV PCI tv tuner still works with Vista on my wife's pc.

Typically, it's the driver/application software and not the hardware which have problems.

You can right click on either the shortcut or exe file, open the Compatibility tab, choose to run as XP SP3, XP SP2.......Win 95. While you're at it, make sure Administrative privileges are checked. If that don't work, search for new drivers/apps.

AnyOne tried Windows7
