i just had my old pldt line converted to this plan. i have been using it for a week now.. speed fluctuates. its okay for the price. i'm still figuring out the problem right now.. i mean.. i am trying to connect two PCs to the connection... my old router doesnt seem to split the connection..so it might be the router..ill be getting a new one this weekend..ill find out if it will work. as per pldt..the connection can be shared to two PCs.
my personal feedback only comes from dial up to dsl plan 888.. im not into downloading things...surfing lang ako.. so far..okay naman.

may nakalap akong balita from a PLDT insider na kapag may Globe DSL sa area nyo, mas mabilis daw ang speed na binibigay ng PLDT.
I don't recommend it. PLDT seems not to care about its PLDT DSL subscribers like me! Ilang beses laging nawawala DSL connection ko and they NEVER did anything to resolve it, inspite of my countless calls to PLDT DSL. I'd rather pay a bit more (although masakit sa bulsa) and get decent service rather than an affordable provider with service which you can't really call a service.
sinabi nyo pa sir B) their tech support is...ugh. iba talaga ung dating compared to other true-blue isps.
once we asked them to find out why we couldn't connect to a certain site(wala namang problema sa ibang mga site) i don't claim to be any sort of certified network engineer, pero malinaw naman na me problema ung router(s) nila. the last i heard from their tech support is ipapacheck daw ung modem -- which never got checked. kung umasa pa ako sa kanila, my boss would've handed my *$$ to me.
compare that to our overseas office, isang tawag lang ng sysad sa isp, solb agad!
(ung upside lang nga, management now knows how crappy their service is. i doubt kung ipapaextend pa namin ung subscription after the lock in period.)
buti na lang ung sa bahay, relatively problem-free(except for the milenyo mess).
lakas ng loob ng pldt magbigay ng ganyang promo... pero yung mga current pldt dsl subscriber eh halos araw araw binibigyan ng sakit ng ulo..... wala pa yatang araw na dirediretso connection ko...

Decided to switch to this triple8 plan. The process still under follow-ups. Weekly ang follow-up namin as they adviced but up to now wala pa rin progress.
PLDT Customer Service is really poor.Ang hirap pa nila kontakin. Am not a subscriber but my officemates can attest to this, minsan pinapadaan pa sa amin yung mga complains nila so we can elevate to our account manager in PLDT, then dun pa lang sila a-action. tsk tsk tsk poor service that is, the subscriber is at the mercy of PLDT while you suffer these problems.
