    By 1 point i mean that if he finish in points next race, he equals Schumi's record on consecutive finishes inside point scoring position. A point is a point. Doesnt matter if its still in 8th pos or now 10th.

    What Verbl Kint meant was that an asterisk was placed because some hardline fanatics might not count is as valid, since during Schumi's time, 10th place doesn't merit a point. From '03-'09 only the top 8 finishers get points.
