Lap 10: Race control reports Vettel has been off track at Turn 10 and he as tumbled back to just ahead of Rosberg and Massa.
Lap 10: Paul di Resta has passed Kovalainen for 17th position with a neat move up the inside at the NGK chicane.
Lap 10: The lead gap is pegged at around a second between Hamilton and Webber.
Lap 9: Perez comes into the pits at the end of the lap.
Lap 9: Sergio Perez has been slightly off-track. He lost nine seconds in the middle sector and drops to 19th.
Lap 9: A fine overtake from Alonso, who now sets off to chase down the other Red Bull of Webber.
Lap 9: Kobayashi has now pulled himself up to the Petrov-Button fight, making it a three-car scrap for ninth.
Lap 8: Meanwhile Alonso shows how it is done with a bold move down the inside of Vettel into Turn 1, putting the Ferrari up to third.
Lap 8: Massa continues to put the DRS pressure on Rosberg but is still struggling to make it stick.
Lap 8: Heidfeld is also now through on Kovalainen and takes 17th place. Di Resta will be the next man knocking at the Finn's door.

Lap 13: Rosberg tried to close the door but it was just too late as Massa sets off to chase down the delayed Vettel.
Lap 12: Massa tires Alonso's move on Rosberg into the first corner and finally makes it stick to take away fifth place.
Lap 12: Buemi has also been into the pits after that incident to get the Toro Rosso checked, but has since rejoined.
Lap 12: The Renault then smashed into the braking marker boards and the German has retired with front end damage.
Lap 12: Heidfeld was on the outside and Buemi eased across to take the racing line for the chicane. The pair made side-to-side heavy contact.
Lap 12: Hamilton's lead is now 0.7 seconds and the McLaren man is told to look after his tyres.
Lap 12: Heidfeld has suffered contact at the NGK chicane. He had been fighting with Buemi for 16th.
Lap 11: Vettel's tyres can't be in good condition now after sliding across the run-off and he may be forced to pit earlier than planned
Lap 14: Webber is now coming under attack from Alonso and just manages to hold off the Ferrari into the first corner.
Lap 14: Hamilton asks the team to stop talking to him while racing, as he resumes his place at the top of the order.
Lap 14: D'Ambrosio now runs 21st with Buemi 22nd and Chandhok 23rd after that stop.
Lap 14: With that incident di Resta is now up to 15th with Kovalainen 16th, Glock 17th, Liuzzi 18th, Perez 19th and Ricciardo in 20th place.
Lap 14: Incredible racing for the lead there, with Hamilton, Webber and Alonso now right together on the circuit.
Lap 13: Hamilton makes a mistake out of the chicane, letting Webber through before the McLaren man fights back into the lead at the first corner!
Lap 16: Thanks to the traffic, Hamilton and Alonso ignore Webber's stop and continue into another lap.
Lap 16: Perez is now 11.3s behind Kovalainen in 16th. Meantime, the Lotus driver posts his quickest lap of the race so far.
Lap 16: Webber has resumed behind Sutil, which may dent his chances of progress on the fresh tyres.
Lap 16: Perez has overtaken Timo Glock for 17th position, as he recovers from that off-track moment and an early pit visit.
Lap 16: Rosberg has also made his first stop, and this will surely force Hamilton and Alonso in the pits.
Lap 15: Webber is in for fresh rubber in an attempt to undercut Hamilton and Alonso.
Lap 15: Red Bull are out in the pitlane for Webber.

Lap 18: The undercut pays off for Webber, with McLaren and Ferrari perhaps wrong to not react immediately to the Red Bull stop.
Lap 18: Schumacher rejoined in 12th position after his stop. He is behind a fight between Rosberg and Alguersuari.
Lap 18: Hamilton re-joins just behind Webber, with Alonso following right on his tail.
Lap 18: Massa takes over the lead but Webber fighting behind him is now the effective leader.
Lap 17: Hamilton, Alonso and Vettel all pit.

Lap 17: Button now attacks Petrov for ninth round the outside of the NGK chicane. The Russian places his Renault perfectly and maintains position.
Lap 20: Hamilton sets the fastest lap, closing to 0.8s behind leader Webber.
Lap 20: Massa is now eighth in the pitstop phase with Vettel tight up behind him. Rosberg is 10th with Schumacher 11th.
Lap 19: Some odd drops of rain falling at the moment as the leaders build back up to speed on the second set of tyres.
Lap 19: Problems for Barrichello. He is wheeled into the Williams garage and retirement.
Lap 19: So the order is Webber from Hamilton and Alonso ahead of Sutil, Button, Petrov and Kobayashi, who are yet to stop.
Lap 19: Button has made it past Petrov and takes over what is a current sixth place.
