August 26th, 2007 12:29 PM #3Wow Massa took pole. Hope he doesnt screw this one up.
Although if recent memory is an indication as long as Massa gets
pole he usually comes up on top.
Looks like FA is still struggling. But we'll see. He's been in tighter
situations in the past. I hope he pulls a rabbit out of the hat this time.

I think McLaren/Alonso experimented with tires on Q3, well that's what I heard from the commentators, and it sort of backfired on them hence the 4th position.
sayang si Kimi kung hindi sana nag error well that's part of the game

It's
1. Massa
2. Kimi
3. Alonso
nice recovery by LH after the tire blowout.

August 26th, 2007 11:37 PM #6That is what I call pulling a rabbit out of the proverbial hat!
Good doing Alonso. He just bidded his time and waited for the
scraps but oh what scraps they were indeed. (Especially after being
blocked by Heidfeld for the longest time...)
As for Hamilton? I just have a couple of words for you, "Karma lang yan bay!"
Although I knew that Alonso was partly to blame for that debacle in
Hungary I felt that he got the "short end of the stick" with that penalty
so generously given by the FIA and that Hamilton was not that "spotless" either.
(Contrary to the the squeeky clean image his PR managers lets us imagine him to be)
Ahh, nature has its own way of "even"-ing out the score in the end wouldn't
you say?

Was not able to watch the race last night. However, based on the results, Ferrari is still in contention for the world championship....

A Ferrari 1-2!
Kimi outmuscled Hamilton in the starting lap and it was an easy coast for both the Ferraris from then on.
Kudos to Alonso for recovering from his starting lap mistake (two BMW Saubers getting past by him) and finishing in the podium.
Tough luck for Hamilton - and this further opened up the driver & constructor's championship race.
