This Sunday, I passed by Macapagal and saw an Autocrossing leg was held at the end of this highway. I saw an old buddy - Danny Santiago, who happens to be the organizer. been out of the circulation for some years already and was quite happy to see a lot of new faces with their old school rides putting their steam off in this autocross event. It's not as exciting as slalom racing which is organized by Mr. and Mrs. Lito and Bingbang Dulce.... but it allows less prepared stock vehicles to join the fun without the danger of having suspension or chassis problems.
The fun element was also prevailing in this type of races since any car can really join as well as any driver - even without a racing license.
The next leg will be on 22nd of November 2009. I might join this one... Just for fun.
Slalom is more grueling for the cars' engine , tires and suspension, but autocrossing is much much lesser harmful to both the car and the driver.
Anyone who wish to try out their skills in racing, this is probably the safest and cheapest way to experience it.
By the way... anybody here who has a copy of the DVD of the "Bugs on Fire" even in Macapagal last 2004?.. I would really appreciate if anyone could lend or sell me a copy. Thanks very much.

you just have to be resourceful as a budget racer...sa stock na category, mas malaki ang chance

Puwede i try, 1. Palit air filter 2. Linis throttle body 3. Linis MAF sensor 4. Check spark...
high idle RPM at engine start
