western governments propanda arm = corporate media (nbc, abc, cbs, bbc, cnn, nyt, wapo, guardian, etc) + entertainment industry (hollywood) brainwashed entire generations --> that the west is civilized, the west is superior, the rest of the world is uncivilized (seen as animals, subhumans, barbarians)

when the west bombs uncivilized countries it's for the good of the world -- it's for peace, destroying "evil", it's morally right, it's justified

Judges in France issued arrest warrants for the Syrian president and three associates for using chemical weapons.

Judges in France issued arrest warrants for Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, his brother Maher al-Assad and two other senior officials for using banned chemical weapons against civilians in August 2013, in attacks that killed more than 1,000 people.

"The issuance of arrest warrants by the French judicial system against the head of state, Bashar al-Assad, and his associates constitutes a historic judicial precedent. This is a new victory for the victims, their families and the survivors and a step on the way to justice and sustainable peace in Syria." said lawyer Mazen Darwish, founder and CEO of the Syrian Center for Communication and Freedom of Expression (SCM).

He added, "The investigating judges in France have spoken their mind about this type of crime; no one is immune. And we expect the French authorities to respect the suffering and rights of the victims along with the decision of the French justice system."

Yet never in history have you seen countries in Asia invade, colonize and pillage other continents and force them to trade opium... well except Japan.

Chinese President Xi Jinping meets with U.S. President Joe Biden at the Filoli Estate in the U.S. state of California, November 15, 2023.

The Xi Jinping-Joe Biden meeting at the Filoli Estate, San Francisco, dominates the headlines of world media. As the steermen of China and the US, the meet will greatly determine the trend of the China-US relations. The world is watching as a better US-China relations do have consequences on the world. And the rest of the world suffer if they do battles. That’s why the meeting is worthy attention and highly-anticipated.

Chinese President Xi Jinping’s remarks during the meeting demonstrate China’s sincerity to improve the bilateral relations:

“For China and the United States, turning their back on each other is not an option. It is unrealistic for one side to remodel the other.

Major-country competition cannot solve the problems facing China and the United States or the world. The planet earth is big enough to accomodate both countries, and one country’s success is an opportunity for the other.

China does not have a plan to surpass or unseat the United States. Likewise, the Untes States should not scheme to suppress and contain China.”

There are other details worthy mentioning: The Filoli estate where they met is a positive sign. A detail and a photo also go viral online.

Biden pointed to a photo in his phone with the Golden Gate Bridge in the background, asked President Xi, "Do you know this young man?"

"Oh yes," said President Xi, "this was me 38 years ago."

San Francisco is special. As the first stop of Xi’s maiden trip to the United States decades ago, Xi Jinping was warmly welcomed in San Francisco. In the spring of 1985, Xi was a county leader of Zhengding in China's northern province of Hebei.

Before Xi attended a welcome dinner on November 15, California Governor Gavin Newsom presented him with a jersey of the NBA team, the Golden State Warriors, to thank Xi’s warm reception duing his trip to Beijing in October.

From Bali to San Francisco, the giant ship of China-U.S. relations has sailed through hidden reefs and rapids. But San Francisco is not a destination. The city, which has witnessed the century-long history of exchanges between Chinese and American people, is a new starter for the China-U.S. relationship.

Makuha kaya si Pooh sa jersey gift. Grabe ngiti eh.
