The fact is , he was never a presidential candidate in 2009 until his mother died. Just like his mom who capitalized the death
of his dad, wala he run & put aside mar for presidency. If that's not called opportunist, i don't know what else it's called.

If he want to claim economic growth due to stock market index & peso vs $, excuse me, he never did anything to merit a claim to that growth as it's simply because the western market are down and that there's just too many $ remittances coming in. The fact is he has even pulled our economy during the start of his term when he hold all goverment projects & only when he realize the effect of his stupidity, did he moved his ass. So please, what has he done to be recognize?
The cuntry's problems can't be solved by a 6 year term "good" president. Period. I don't want to extend his reign as well since I believe that ultimately, absolute power corrupts absolutely. BUT, he has laid the foundation for the Philippines to go on the right track and for me that is enough. At least natigil an yung style Erap, style Arroyo etc. na style bulok. Would you rather have Binay back in 2016 or somebody else like Chiz or Mar? Your answer to that question is basically my point in saying that having him is still better than getting a Villlar, another term for Erap or an Arroyo crony in Gibo. No offense as well.

BIR has improved its collection, corruption is curved negatively. Yes only the rich and middle class have so far benefited largely from his monetary policies but at least there's a benefit. Hindi gaya nung dati puro scam left and right. Para ka na rin leftist niyan, wala nang presidente na magaling. Sana inisip mo din kung sino ba pagpipilian nung 2010. Malaking bagay yun.

Or baka naman bata ka ni Binay? :bwahaha:

    Mga Sirs,

    Opinion ko lang po ito.

I will not vote again for Noynoy if he will run as president, why? if i recall it correctly there is a huge surplus on the governments fund and sa pagkakaalam ko yung government spending is the main driver of of economic activity ng isang bansa.

second, it is true that during his time the philippine index is at all time high but have we considered na walang one day millionaire? ibig sabihin kung may ginawa sya ngayon hindi pa ito mararamdaman ng sambayanan. I am not pro-arooyo either pero she is good with numbers and i think this is one of the contributing factor of the GDP of our country nowadays.

adlib sa second story: If i recall it correctly during Marcos's time Philippines is Asia's economic powerhouse, namana ni Cory. Whatever mismanagement happened to the Administration of Cory A. we do not know, pero ang dominanteng namana ni Ramos yung power crisis kaya eto lahat ng resources ng gobyerno shift sa industriyang iyun na later on alam naman natin ang kinalabasan - mahal na kuryente. Again, whatever mismanagement happened during the time of FVR we do not know, but business is booming. Alam din natin kung ano kinalabasan nung panahon ni ERAP some of the big companies manufacturing plants are moving out of the country because of high cost doing business in the philippines. Wherein, again whatever happened to the mismanagement of the past 3 administration and until mawala si ERAP sa pwesto eh obvious naman ang naging resulta, baon tayo sa utang na lalong nagpapanget ng economic profile natin sa buong mundo. Which, namana naman ni Arroyo. during arroyo's stint for the past 10 years, halos usad pagong ang ating bansa pero noticeable ang unti unti pagbangon ng pinas sa kahirap, one - we were not affected by the Crisis last 2008 na alam naman natin na halos napadapa nito ang ilang mas mauunlad na bansa which is directly impacting sa ekonomiya ng pinas. pero internal tourism (kaya nauusog ang holiday) at government spending (infrastructure) ang bumubuhay sa atin during that time which gave the private sector a good signal to invest more - kita naman sa mga development ngayon, pati call center industry all time high at alam ko natalo ng Pinas ang India when it comes to total BPO contribution.

By the way, private employee po ako.

BTT: I will not vote for PNOY if he were to run again....

The extension of power (and influence) here in the Philippines is not healthy for anybody....

Even if his/her performance on his/her first term is commendable.... We should learn from history....

    "Power corrupts".....

boss if we will assume na lahat may under the table, kahit ikaw sa current work mo dapat up to 13th month lang, minimum wage and etc. kasi i can also assume na may red tape ka din - just to be fair di po ba.

Marcos is the worst president. Philippines was Asia's economic powerhouse dahil napakaaraming utang at war repatriation na natanggap natin. At lahat ng iyon ay sinayang lang natin. hahahahaha

The Marcos regime crippled the LARGEST income generating industry for the Philippines during those times, and that was the SUGAR INDUSTRY.

Sir, based sa history (sorry hindi ko ata masyado naintindihan) time ni Marcos inestablish yung green revolution where Philippines economy relied mostly on Agri, noticeable result is IRRI.

meron kasi nalusaw utak kaya eto kahit nasa office nagreresearch ako about Philippines economy during the time of Marcos.

Kasi sabi ng mga matatanda, lolo at lola ko na sa tuhod, at least nun time daw ni Marcos (not sure din ha, tsismis eh) ang masasabing corrupt lang is yung within the circle nya. unlike nowadays pati police oyster, tindero ng basahan sa kalye corrupt na din eh. hahahahah.

just my opinion, mga boss lets be constructive para maganda discussion. sana yung nalusaw utak di na makapagpost kasi ala na maisip eh.

Bro not to flame or anything, but I genuinely want to understand why you would vote for Binay?

You okay with the fact that he himself is corrupt, and will most likely proliferate padrino system and therefore surround himself with an equally corrupt cabinet?

So assuming they will both do a crap job (according to you), you will prefer to vote the corrupt one over the clean one?

Hope to understand why bro. Parang di ko maintindihan kasi why you'd vote someone else just for the sake of variety when that person is obviously more corrupt and self-serving.

I don't try to impose my candidates on anyone else, but all I wish for is that everyone else arrived at their choices through critical thinking. Few people realize the power of suffrage
(which is why people sell their votes so easily), but I hope that changes.
