Sayang wala si OB and his thoughts on middle earth and religion...=P
Everyone here were introduced to religion via schooling/brainwash at an early age. If given a choice, would you want your offspring to find religion by themselves or forcefeed them like yourselves?

i went to a catholic school back in elementary and 1st-2nd year h.s. and never will i let my children study in a catholic school, grabe sila mang brainwash don. lahat pinapakielaman pati personal na buhay at mga bagay na ginagawa mo sa labas ng school na dapat di na pakielaman ng school kahit relationship mo papakielaman, if di ka maniwala sa mga sinasabi ng mga preist at madre or di ka sumunod sasabihin masama kang tao. tapos parati sasabihin "if you're bad you'll go to hell", if ganon pala di i'd rather go to hell than heaven atleast at hell walang discrimination lahat ng klase ng tao tatangapin.

pointless makipag debate sa mga Bible-quoters
yung pang sagot nila sayo galing din sa Bible
eh ang pinag dedebatehan nga yung foundation ng paniniwala nila which is based on Bible teachings
they're clueless about ancient history
compared to earliest written history, the Bible is quite recent
here's a bit of history of the Bible: (i'm sure those Bible-quoters don't even know the history of the book they're quoting from)
note: Dead Sea scrolls -- written 150 BC

Ancient Scripts: Sumerian
The Sumerians were one of the earliest urban societies to emerge in the world, in Southern Mesopotamia more than 5000 years ago. They developed a writing system whose wedge-shaped strokes would influence the style of scripts in the same geographical area for the next 3000 years. Eventually, all of these diverse writing systems, which encompass both logophonetic, consonantal alphabetic, and syllabic systems, became known as cuneiform.
so how old is Sumerian mythology?
and how old is Christianity?
Mesopotamian religion - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Mesopotamian religion refers to the religious beliefs and practices followed by the Sumerian and Akkadian (Assyrian/Babylonian) peoples living in Mesopotamia (around the area of modern Iraq) that dominated the region for a period of 4200 years from the fourth millennium BC to approximately the 3rd century AD.[1] Christianity began to take root among the Mesopotamians in the 1st Century AD, and over the next 300 years the native religion largely died out.

If indeed Sumeria exist or just a myth...granting for the sake of argument, writing (any form or method for that matter--cuineform or pictograph) but remember all this writing would not materialize it it did not come from oldest account that it orally or ancient knowledge or lore) And I think it's unfair to label any person being a fanatic or whatever term..we are all seeking the truth here and I believe stereotyping is uncalled for in any healthy discussion...anyway, from the start we all have our conviction but still respect for one's opinion is primordial. I consider the members here as enlightened sectors of the society trying to make the world a better place to live and thrive in. So we may disagree on many issues but that's the path to enlightenment...thank you for all tsikoteers---we are leading to that path...
