If she had a history of making such mistakes? Sure. But, I get the feeling someone higher up was calling the shots and put her up to it.

She just happened to be the expendable one. Firing her won't fix the fundamental problem with the US MSM.

These people are anti-Trump. But, they also recognize how bad the US MSM had become.

As usual, he nails how I feel. I am also the type who gives credit where credit is due even if I am ambivalent about it.

Uncle Bernie while on a campaign rally, jumping topics from loving kids patting his hairy legs while in the pool, likes kids jumping on his lap, to learning about roaches. I think he is borderline dementia.

You gotta thank Trump for saving the Daily/Late Night satirical shows. They'll never run out of material while this bozo is president. :D

The useless gossipy crap is fine. Those just bounce off him like bugs on a windshield. Of more important note, he's the only politician here who is getting anything done.

The news about ex-CIA operatives being hired recently by CNN and MSNBC is nothing new. But, the violation of civil and privacy rights are. That really sours me even more than I already am.

I certainly agree on that. This "windshield" has all the symptoms of NPD, which apparently implies that he's also immune to criticism.

    • Grandiosity with expectations of superior treatment from other people
    • Continually demeaning, bullying and belittling others
    • Exploiting others to achieve personal gain
    • Lack of empathy for the negative impact they have on the feelings, wishes, and needs of other people
    • Fixation on fantasies of power, success, intelligence, attractiveness, etc.
    • Self-perception of being unique, superior, and associated with high-status people and institutions
    • Need for continual admiration from others
    • Sense of entitlement to special treatment and to obedience from others
    • Intense envy of others, and the belief that others are equally envious of them

He's become a laughing stock worldwide. Imagine Boris Johnson... known affectionately as the UK version of Trump... standing with other world leaders laughing AT Trump?

At what expense? Cozying up on enemies and alienating the US from Allies?

I don't think he's capable, much less, competent, to even understand what he is doing. I attribute his "achievements" to career government workers who probably, in one way or another, did their job behind the POTUS' back.

And oh, the Commander Im-Peach left early because he really had nothing to say that is of any substance. I mean, ALL of his interviews are about himself. Hollow, disgusting.... Am I to believe that he has the welfare of the country in mind? Nope. If he does, it's only because he stands to personally benefit from it. He's so incompetent to even hide that fact.

Most politicians have skeletons in their closets. Trump hangs his on the front porch.

Those opposed to Trump have been searching for the skeletons almost nonstop. He's probably the most scrutinized political figure I've ever seen in my lifetime. If there were skeletons exposed, it would be an open and shut case and Trump would have been deposed already.

Trump governs from the top. That means his policies start with him and trickle down to the rest of the hierarchy. The problem is, he didn't clean out many of the holdovers from the previous administration as presidents before him have. He should've cleaned house first before moving in.

The main reason these Euro NATO countries are having tantrums is because they now have to devote their own resources for their upkeep instead of Daddy Bucks USA paying for it all. I'm fine with that. So are most Americans. Quite frankly, I too question the need for NATO. The Warsaw Pact died decades ago. Russia is in no shape to rule the world. If the Euros don't like it, they can create a new military alliance without US participation.

If cozying up to enemies means meeting with their leaders to diffuse tension or a situation? That's fine with me too.

He would be, if only the GOP had any ounce of decency left and let justice go about its business. But no... they're compelled somehow to tow the Republican line and push back with dirty politics because they have no leg to stand on.

Latest reports indicated that there were several calls that happened between Devin Nunez and Lev Parnas, the latter being indicted for illegally funneling foreign money into the US. Mr. Nunez, rather conveniently, doesn't recall this and allowed himself to take part in the impeachment inquiry as ranking member of the intelligence committee. The least he could've done is recuse himself.

His policies are fed to him by Jared, Ivanka, and Stephen Miller, among others. Nuff said.

What then would be the explanation behind the countless resignations in the WH of Trump appointees?

That's Trump's ONLY excuse when confronted about anything... That the confronter is either a Never Trumper, a Democrat, or he/she is working for Obama or Clinton. Case in point, the whistleblower. Although he hasn't any clue who it is, but the POTUS still incessantly accuse him/her as being a partisan.

I agree with you up to a certain extent. That said, whether NATO is still relevant or not is besides the point. It's not yet dissolved so the POTUS clearly, being the majority "share holder" (for lack of a better term), should be the one who is exhibiting leadership and providing guidance to member countries. But as I've said earlier, this president is a simpleton and can't grasp concepts and adult talking points without breaking down into insults or patting himself on the back.

If you look at the big picture, all the events that are unfolding is playing into Putin's wish list. Putin may not match the raw military might of the US, much less with NATO combined, but Putin is clearly ahead of his game with cyber warfare.... They succeeded in putting Trump in office n 2016 and evidence still shows their hands at the spigot, disseminating fake news and creating dirt on Trump's opponents.

As Pelosi rightfully asserted: "All roads with you [Trump] leads to Putin." Trump's a pawn in Putin's chess board.

But that's not exactly what is happening, is it?

Trump is running the federal government like a company. It's also just like any federal job here. If the employee cannot do the job good enough to the satisfaction of the higher ups, he/she is gone. It's like an extended probation. It applied to me. It's currently applying to my daughter.

If that was the case, the previous presidents wouldn't have cleaned house either. Federal communications (both DoD and civilian) are recorded and constantly monitored (including emails). Many in government seem to not know that and type up/talk in official channels about things that can incriminate them. They should have been more wary. But, that's why we know. Anything stored in a server can be exposed and compromised. As for the whistle blower we already know who it is.

Here we go. Russia is the bogeyman. Please. If anything, it's probably the Democrats who have their noses so deep in it. Every time Trump attempts to find out the origins of the Steele Dossier, roadblocks (aka delaying actions by the Democrats) keep coming up. Trump has been under a microscope for three years now. Now? It's the Democrats' turn to be examined.

Sorry if I don't have much trust for the MSM. They ceased to be the watchdogs of our society when they took sides. CNN, MSNBC, and the Washington Post are among those facing lawsuits because of their really shoddy journalism.

DOJs IG Horowitz's report out now. He concluded that the FBI made "significant inaccuracies and omissions" in their applications to secretly monitor Trump campaign adviser Carter Page, and agents "failed to meet the basic obligation" to ensure the applications were "scrupulously accurate." Seven significant omission were discussed by select Senators and Congressmen below.

In most other times, we'd be opposed to each other during an election that has a level and fair playing field (same rules and standards for all candidates, impartial and neutral media). If his candidate wins? I'd accept the election results, have a beer with Jimmy Dore (and company), hope for the best. If mine won? He'd do the same.

But, we both know the playing field hasn't been level for two presidential elections now. It was subtle early on. Now? It's blatantly plain as day.
