but i read before that kamala is a player. she knows how to get what she wants , no matter what it takes daw.
Remember, Hillary won the popular vote in 2016 but still lost to the Orange Monkey due to their convoluted electoral college system. This is one scenario that Democrats are trying to avoid with Kamala and hope that it will be like or surpass Obama's victory.

Kamala Presidency is good for our WPS.

Fair Share? Yellen Says US Opposed To Global Wealth Tax On Ultra-Rich

"A proposal for a worldwide tax on the assets of the ultra-wealthy that’s being pushed by some countries within the G20 does not have the support of the Biden administration, according to Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen."

true. even al gore lost to George bush 24 years ago because of the the electoral college system. it is the "trump card" of the american election system. and yes, it's as convoluted as it is archaic , as its critics say, in today's digital age.

If you think about it, the electoral college system makes sense.

It was an old system that really should have been discarded in the 20th Century. It was supposed to keep smaller states from being swallowed up by the bigger ones. But now its the other way around.

I think the Supreme Court declared Bush as the winner in that election. (Of course helped by the archaic electoral college system.)

Another scenario that the Republicans are trying to repeat by the many lawsuits they'll be throwing against Kamala Harris as they know the Supreme Court is pro Trump if and when this 2024 Election eventually goes to the Supreme Court.

Also designed to keep white votes not to be overruled by black votes.

gawa ka ng panibagong thread. madami susubaybay doon.

i read that the paris olympics started in a less than stellar manner w/ several incidents marring the event. Australians were particularly hit hard w/ thieves raiding their cycling team entourage and more saddening was that one of their compatriots was gang raped by supposed muslim immigrants.

in addition, a railway was fire bombed earlier today aimed at disrupting the opening ceremony.

This is the "US Politics" thread.

Can someone please move the discussion of the Paris Olympics to the "Sports, Health, Fitness and Games" forum?

DDS are now all over Trump. They are now using the same tactics they used against Leni and applying it to Harris.
