to be fair to the Trumpists here totoo naman it's the media who declared Biden the winner pero hindi pa official

it's a months long process -- there's the election (Nov), states choose electors, then electors vote for the president (Dec), then Congress declares the winner (Jan)

Kaya China's Xi and Russia's Putin didn't congratulate Biden yet

Trump's camp is working on the count

if that doesn't work they'll work on the Electoral College -- coz even if Biden won the popular vote, electors can vote for Trump parin

(blame that on the Founding Fathers -- they were afraid voters may not choose a worthy leader kaya meron Electoral College)

electors pledge to vote for the candidate who won the popular vote but electors can break the pledge

they're called "faithless" electors



so hindi pa 100% sure si Biden ang magiging presidente

ultimately on Jan 6 Congress will count the electoral votes and officially declare the winner
