We have a serious problem. Digging deep into this conspiracy will expose LP's involvement in the scam. How come Sen. Drilon's numbers shoot up to 18 million+, overtaking TESDA Sec. Villanueva? Robredo's case is another mystery. Clearly, a scenario is developing. An LP Vice President and LP Senate President is in the offing. What can these two figures do to the presidency of Rodrigo Duterte? Your guess is as good as mine. IT experts on Sunday accused the Commission on Elections of electoral sabotage for engaging the services of Marlon Garcia, the same Smartmatic project director who was embroiled in an election-related scandal in 2013, also for tampering with the transparency server.
The Venezuelan technician admitted last week that he had introduced a script into the transparency server after voting had ended on May 9, but said it was just “a cosmetic change.”
But IT expert and former Biliran Rep. Glenn Chong, a convener of AESWatch, vowed to revive his case against Garcia, the Comelec and other Smartmatic officials for “undermining the integrity” of elections.

On JM's suspension: the man is well-educated and is established in his career. I expected that he'd uphold civility, professionalism, and objectivity in his posts. Yet for some reason, he was unable to take the high road and stooped to the low level of trolls - spewing insults generously, aiming to belittle everyone with flawed logic.

Here's the thing - insulting someone will not make him realize the flaws of his reasoning. Instead, it promotes animosity and the one insulted strengthens his resolve to contradict whatever the insult-er stands for.

Whether you're a lawyer, police officer, or even the President, you don't go brandishing your superiority and throwing your weight around. Instead, you approach conflicting stands with empathy and you reason objectively.

You will not win over everyone, but it's certainly a more effective approach than belittling people. There will always be trolls and extremists who aren't open to dialogue, but I expect that majority of the people here would know better and are capable of ignoring them and not falling into the trap.

Now, for the trolls, especially those who've sprouted during the election season - we (the moderators) have been lenient and accommodating, because we believe in dialogue and a healthy exchange of opinions, dissenting as they are. But seeing that trolling contributes in breeding aggression and bickering, we will be more stringent in watching over threads and warning/banning members who derail threads and refuse to acknowledge facts and logical reasoning.

Ultimately, my vision Tsikot to remain a decent online forum focused primarily on car-related topics and be a trove of useful information for everyone. I hope that everyone is on board on this.

Brother, I understand that you have anti-LP sentiments, perhaps borne out of the shortcomings of the outgoing administration. However, Leni winning and Drilon leading does not prove that the party resorted to cheating.

It has been explained over and over again - Marcos took an initial lead because his bailiwicks transmitted earlier. Leni's bailiwicks transmitted later, but when everything was tallied (we're now at 96%), it's apparent that more people supported Leni than BBM.

The reasoning that Leni is unknown does not hold water - she conducted over 350 sorties nationwide (more than BBM) and has a blemish-free and competent track record. Those who may not have known her before were easily converted to become supporters once they learned about her and her work. Being the widow of the renowned Jesse Robredo also helped, though it's interesting to note that she never banked on her husband's death to propel her campaign.

I personally lived in Naga for a couple of years, and have seen first-hand the kind of leadership that the Robredos espoused - simple, clean, inclusive. I also have many friends that are part of her campaign team and they have been unanimous in their support for Leni's clean campaign.

If anything, I'm more surprised that BBM received this much support despite his family's theivery to our country. Contrary to what apologists claim, BBM was a grown man during his father's dictatorial regime, and he benefitted from their plunder. Yet, to this day, he refuses to acknowledge the wrong that they've done and even has the gall to try and rewrite history with the Marcoses as heroes. Allowing this is an insult to the democracy we have fought strongly for.

It's also not surprising that Drilon overtook Villanueva's early lead. Tesdaman is strong in NCR and nearby provinces, and coincidentally these areas were the first to transmit. But once the Visayas votes came in, Drilon overtook Villanueva. Remember, Drilon hails from Visayas and has been a political household name for years. It is not surprising that he comes out on top of the relatively juvenile Villanueva.

If you think none of my arguments are reasonable, please do let me know why. Let's discuss with facts.

Ang sarap ng feeling. Panalo si Leni. Against all Odds.

Congrats, the best woman finally won. Woohooooo. Yesss!
