Kasi yung mga foreigners eh sarili pera gamit nila to learn scuba/technical diving. Parang wala gaano pinoy mahilig dito.

They study/learn scuba diving because they like to do it for fun.

Most Pinoy's can't even afford the basic necessities in life.

I agree... Scuba Diving.. as a hobby.. although we have lots of dive sites all around the country... as a hobby.. mahal ang Scuba Diving... recreational diving pa lang yan... Technical Diving is a lot more expensive investment wise (gear, gear and more gear)...

The foreigners.. well... pag may ipon sila sa abroad.. dadalhin dito.. mag aasawa ng Pinay para magkaroon ng resort.. operate the resort... may pera pa rin sila to do their hobby.. pinagkakakitaan pa nila hobby...

Haha... It's cheaper to buy tickets to Bora and post the pics on FB. Underwater? Who'll see you there? :D Pwede pa surfing, cool ka tignan.

But yes, diving is expensive from what i know. The question here is not how many Pinoys like diving but how trained are our emergency services to meet such demands such as search and rescue at sea or high up in the mountains, on a large scale. Also, how fast can we respond to that given that the first few minutes and hours are very critical for survivors.

Regular SCUBA... necessary for rescue. Technical? Not so much. If they're that far down, they're most likely dead, already.

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
