Well, let's see first before we judge.

I am for killing criminals and bad people for the better welfare of the majority. Heck, i am even willing to do it myself if a Law provides me the right to do so. Back in the Phil Constabulary and MetroCom days, criminals are killed like chickens and it's all good. When it stopped, crime rose to new heights.

Simpleton thinking. Hindi naman mga bobo ang mga Pari. They know what's acceptable and what's not.

The Church allowed him to run. Allowed is the keyword. How can you allow someone you don't support?

Pampanga can help desaturate Manila and help other depressed provinces. investment zone yan eh, di'ba dyan din yun call center na itatayo with a thousand seats na lagi laman ng dyaryo.
The problem in leading Pampanga is going against the children of Satan.

Lito Lapid, a moron, led Pampanga for a long time, it didn't go anywhere. I've been visiting Pampanga for a long time (and we even have projects there) and it's not really going anywhere. Now a Jueteng Queen tied with the cheating midget going against Lito's son. See, going against these two is a big deal.

Why don't you reside there for a year and run for public office? Who knows, you might make a good statesman.

accdg. to the news hindi naman siya inallow to run and to be a priest at the same time. from what I can remember, sya yun nagsasabi ng pagtapos ng term niya babalik sya sa priesthood. a proposal na mukang pinag-iisipan pa ng simbahan.

i agree with the general consensus naman here. it's "basic" instinct naman na mas iboboto ng taumbayan ang pari kaysa gambler or anak ng artista. obvious ba hehehe.

but i'm more concerned about Father's power. like they say, easy come, easy go. napakadali nya umakyat sa pwesto. from what I can see here, hindi lang supporters ni Lapid or ni Pineda ang hindi makiki-cooperate sa kanya, kungdi pati Mayors na din ng iba't ibang towns ng Pampanga. malamang karamihan ng Mayors na yun dekada na binibilang para mabasbasan man lang maging Gov or Vice Gov. ng Pampanga. pero here comes father, whose only credential is the lesser evil and an ex-priest, tinalo pa ang pangarap ng sinuman sa kanila.

that's why nasasabi ko na delikado ang lagay ng Pampanga. with all the potential infightings na mangyayari dyan, ewan ko kung maka-concentrate sya sa progress in the next 3 years. hindi naman sasantuhin ng ibang pulitiko na tiga-Pampanga, si Father, porkit pari sya.

been reading some news sa Pampanga, bakit ang gulo-gulo ngaun dun? adami Brgy. captains ang napapatay, mostly supporters ng gov. priest.

and the priest's reaction was to denounce the killings and to be vigilant. maybe somebody ought to remind him that he is now a governor. not a CBCP member who issues pastoral letters.

he must now assume the role of a Governor, take-on the Pampanga kingpin head-on who is now terrorizing the province.

GUAGUA -- Pampanga governor-elect Eddie "Among" Panlilio has joined peace-loving citizens in condemning the "senseless" acts of violence in the province, saying responsible individuals for the extrajudicial killings must be arrested and made to face the full force of the law.

"I join the rest of the peace-loving citizens of Pampanga in condemning, in the strongest possible terms, these senseless acts of violence. Whoever is responsible for these extrajudicial killings must be arrested and made accountable for these crimes within the bounds of the law. Life is sacred and it is a grave sin to snuff out somebody else's life for whatever reason or purpose there may be," Panlilio said.

He also urged the Pampanga police led by Senior Superintendent Keith Singian to seriously look into the spate of killings and let the rule of law prevail. He said whether the incidents are election-related or not, the police should serve and protect the general public whom they swore to serve.

Panlilio also appealed to Kapampangans to remain vigilant and united, despite the situation of the province now.

"This is not a time for vengeance, nor a time to be cowed into fear. Our situation in Pampanga now calls for calm and sobriety. Even as some elements choose to remain under the veil of darkness to sow terror and fright, let us remain vigilant and united so that we may keep the light of hope burning in our hearts," he said.

Amid much rejoicing over the Kapampangan crusade's initial victory, Panlilio was saddened by the recent spate of violent incidents here, which claimed the lives of barangay officials and other individuals in various towns in the province.

The deaths of Benigno Sigua of Mabalacat and Mario Nulud of Guagua as well as the ambush attempt on Fernando Santos of Jalung, Porac barely a few weeks after the elections have greatly alarmed the Kapampangan community.

"I commiserate with the families, friends and relatives of the victims of these violent incidents that have occurred in rapid succession after the elections. The death of a loved one is never easy to take especially if it is borne out of strange circumstances and the perpetrators are still out there roaming freely," Panlilio said. (MHD)
