It's all crap. Pyramids made by aliens? Just because we cannot explain it easily (actually the riddle on how the pyramids were built was already explained.) means some out of this world being came in to built those things.
All classic crap story (pati Bermuda Triangle at so-called vanished WWII planes which were found already in the area above the Bermuda Triangle).
I've read his crap (as a kid) became amazed with his theories and studied and now classify his writings as "FICTION".

Try more science based materials from Discovery, History Channel and National Geographic and less materials from fantasy and sci-fi writers like Von Daniken.

Fairy tales are easy to propagate. A test on so-called paranormal events (when there was none) can easily be done in a small group. This was done in one of the features of a documentary (Bio channel ata). By "suggesting" that someone "felt" something in a trance and another "saw something" almost every member of a trance group said similar experiences. Just to learn later everything was.....staged. Usong uso ito lalo na sa religious rallies (ehemmm.....peace. di ko mention groups)

And another - mas interesting kasi yung "aliens" and "alien mythology" thanks to Steven Spielberg (Close Encounter) pinauso pa ng sensationalist writers using urban myths to propagate their pseudo-sciences or science fiction. Half baked theories and sensational opinions harked as science. Are we so idiotic as not to be able to build the Pyramids of Giza, the stone hedge or even the giant heads in Easter Island? OMG....crap!

Religion is based on faith.
Science is based on facts.
Two parallel roads that will never meet.
A debate on this is never ending.

Btw the woman listening on something like a cellphone in the black and white movie? She could just be covering her face. Or experiencing a toothache problem. Or something else. But saying she is a time traveller is more fantastic, more "editorial" worthy, more interesting. truth can be, so dull after all.

Once there was an atheist who insisted there was no god. One day he was in a sinking ship and managed to jump out and swim. While swimming he saw from a distance a shark coming close and scream " God save me pleassseee!!!!". And an angel appeared and said "But you do not believe in God!"
