brent holds above 70
since this morning Asia session
to this afternoon European session

by the time news came out, oil already rallied
-
if you waited for news before you BUY, you're too late
-
as early as yesterday morning traders already bid up brent above 71
coz EU air traffic control warned commercial flights to avoid Syria
--
you don't wait for reuters or bloomberg to tell the world Trump wants to strike Syria
by the time the world finds out, the money has already been made
non-traders don't know "buy the rumor..."
only dumb investors buy on headlines

Hit a peak of US$ 73.50... now lower at 72.80...
France, Britain and US move forces off Syria to show they have taken the political high ground. Waiting for a token strike against evil Assad... Just don't kill any of Poohtin's troops.

another factor driving oil prices higher -- Saudi Arabia signaled they want oil at around $80
to support their government’s spending (Saudi govt spends a lot!)

aside from fiscal break even, SA is planning to take Saudi Aramco public
they need oil prices to be high para mataas ang value (they're aiming for $2 trillion!!)
