If Villar has all the money to produce many ads and have them aired as often as he wants, Noy has the most no. of artistas to back him up in an ad. My take:

Pros:

1. Impressive all star cast from rival networks together for the 1st time in one ad.
2. Catchy, will definitely attract the masa and anyone who tends to get star-struck.

Cons:

1. W/ apologies to Regine Velasquez fans, wala akong naintindihan sa kinakanta niya. Puro tili lang ang narinig ko. Buti na lang may youtube para puedeng ulit-ulitin. But that's not something one can do when watching TV.
2. I didn't get what Noynoy stands for. Parang nabaon sa kanta at sa dami ng artista.
3. Seems to fall into the "trapo trap" in the sense that typical trapo candidates try to rely on a showbiz personality to attach their names to (remember Jamby & Juday?). Noynoy has an entire battalion of them.

Bottomline, this ad will work for the typical non-critical voter, but the thinking ones will need more than a bunch of celebrities to convince them.

It was Kris and Boy Abunda led endorsement so what can we expect from their reputations as endorser. It was like they are endorsing a newly launch poor quality movie to attract patronage.

its doesnt do anything for the environment...look at all those kerosene smoke and fumes!
i think in order for us to move forward is to get past these celebrity endorsers and focus more on the issues and platform of government. The last thing you get from showbiz people is the truth!

Well that ad was made to hypnotize ignorant citizens like those who still believe na may "laban" pa. The ad was produced in high quality but who cares? Walang sense. It's just random celebrities looking somewhere and at the end Noynoy shows up as if he won in Deal or No Deal.

i think the difference though is that other candidates buy the services of the celebs ..

in anycase .. sa akin lang .. walang pinag-kaiba yung platforms ng mga candidates sa isa't-isa .. same pro-poor, anti-corruption, good governance .. all of that good stuff .. paraphrased lang so pagalingan nalang ng scriptwriter ..

people who think noynoy is inept because of his credentials miss the point of his campaign .. the fall of the phil. government is not because of the credentials of the leader .. it's because of corruption brought about by that leader .. credentials don't make the leader .. it's his character .. unfortunately, for every character flaw that is thrown against noynoy by his opponents .. you can find so much more flaws from those same people .. that's why they hit on credentials instead .. but that's missing the point ..
