I find it more extravagant than the other candidates .. but less pretentious ..

i said less pretentious because all the other ads have the candidates showing how they're one with the poor by simply mingling with them, shaking their hands, doling out stuff .. who are they kidding, it's not as if they'll actually do that kung walang photo op ..

i think i like it because it doesn't show the people as poor or rich .. it's not exploitative to the poor .. it doesn't show class difference .. it doesn't show people as hopeless or as angry .. it shows a lot of smiling people .. it's not self-aggrandizing ..

as far as celebrities .. i like the fact that it has both kapuso and kapamilya folks .. again, it doesn't show bias .. just people .. i heard gratis lang yung bayad sa kanila ..

the ad per se (in terms of production values and technical production) is well made... I remember na around the time na nag announce si Noy ng kanyang kandidatura, Kris hosted a dinner (or lunch ba yun) sa Times St inviting a lot of showbiz personalities.. kesyo hindi naman daw pulitika ang pinag usapan and yet parang sa event na yun ata nakuha yung suporta ng marami sa lumabas sa ad na ito...

naisip ko lang bigla.. masyadong mahahati ang showbiz world ngayon... di gaya nung tumakbo si Erap nung '98 halos solid ang showbiz sa kanya... now.. hati... malakas ang hatak ni Kris para kay Noy.. but Manny also has his aces... as well as Erap...
