I have seen her and several incorruptibles in Italy (St Rita of Cassia, St Anna Tiagi, St Anthony of Padova's preserved tongue). Its truly amazing! I was told that there is just a thin layer of wax or makeup applied to the skin to hide a few imperfections. The bodies are kept in a sealed glass casket for viewing without any means to preserve them. Its truly remarkable, miraculous and faith strenghtening.
