From the damage, the bomb could be a small one like two sticks of dynamite at most. Given the injuries mentioned were the lower parts of the body, it could have been hidden under the seat. The blast killed the two seated on top of it, rest were injured by the blastwave going along the floor of the bus, through under their seats.
