At least two people were killed and 17 were wounded in a bus explosion along Epifanio delos Santos Avenue (EDSA) in Makati City on Tuesday, police said.
A report on dzBB quoted Senior Supt. Froilan Bonifacio, Makati Police chief, as saying two people were killed in the blast inside a "Newman" air-conditioned bus (TXJ-710), shortly before 2 p.m.
The report said the incident occurred near the corner of EDSA and Buendia Avenue, near the Metro Rail Transit (MRT) station.
The type of explosive used in the blast was not immediately known.
A report from GMA News reporter Susan Enriquez said Vice President Jejomar Binay, former Makati City mayor, immediately rushed to the scene. — LBG, GMANews.TV

Traffic in EDSA northbound from Ayala has been closed. Rerouted through Mckinley to C-5. Also expect extreme crowding in the MRT stations. The authorities still don't want to use "bombing" as the cost of the explosion. 10 victims are brought to St. Luke Global City.
