    Nice read. Unless there'll be a cultural revolution, things won't change.

    There will never be a cultural revolution. Things will only get worst, poor multiply like rats and politicians like it. Population growth is out of control because of the poor and RC likes it.

    Hindi sa culture ng mga Pinoys to be Entrepeneurial. Unlike the Americans, Jews and the Chinese.

    Ang dream ng Pinoy is to have a high paying, cushy job working under a benevolent boss.
    True, wala sa culture ng Pinoys.

    the Catholic church pounded pinoys into smallness

    pinoys were taught to live a humble life

    to be content and to always be grateful

    basta daw may nakakain kailangan magpasalamat

    whatever

    It's not the catholic church. It is the centuries of oppression under foreign rulers.

    rich people are always portrayed as evil

    sa media... sa telenovelas... lagi masamang tao ang mayaman

    ang mahirap lagi mabuting tao na inaapi ng mayaman

    kinondisyon ang utak ng tao na ok lang maging mahirap

    that there's glory in being poor

    the conditioning breeds hatred and resentment towards the rich

    class warfare

    you see it in society

    Although 300+years of spanish rule (which we know is too greatly influenced by the church) does take its toll the most. hehe
