* 1 Heckler & Koch HK 11 light support machine gun;

* one 5.56mm M4 carbine;

* 9mm and caliber .45 pistols

2 klase ang Muslim: may tutoong Muslim na ang hangad ay kapayapaan; at meron din namang nagmu-Muslim-musliman lang (if there's such word)na nagtatago sa likod ng Islam upang iskatuparan ang pansariling hangarin. Tulad din nating mga Kristyano, hindi maiiwasang may mga bulok ang paniniwala at ugali.

In this situation, yung 2nd type ng mga Muslim ang may gawa nun. Hindi sila tao kundi mga halimaw!

OT: tutoo bang ang pinag-excavate ng mga authorities duon sa crime scene ay mismong mga relatives ng mga biktima? If true, tuluyan ng na-compromise na ang mga evidences kasi hindi nasunod ang protocol.

Guys, let's be more circumspect when generalizing religions as violent or not. Remember that every religion has its share of radicals and fanatics. Christianity has its own black eye with the Spanish inquisition, the Crusades, the Catholic vs. Protestant wars in Ireland, or how the Ku Klux Klan subverts the Bible to justify white power. Evil doesn't rest in one's religion but in one's heart and mind, depending on how drunk w/ power he or she becomes. Remember images of Imelda praying w/ her diamond rosary or GMA in deep prayer or receiving communion? Stark contrast to what they do in real life, right?

If true, then I hope it'll benefit ordinary citizens when the perpetrators are brought to justice. But I worry about the commander in chief who'll declare it. She created this warlord monster in the 1st place. With rival clan Mangudadatu now in Lakas-Kampi, what guarantees do we have that pandak isn't replacing one monster w/ another? the real reason for declaring martial law? i think it is as what Gov. Pinol said. Kaya lumaki ang ulo at naging powerful ng sobra ang mga Ampatuans dahil pinayagan ni GMA dati pa dahil sobrang laki ng utang ni GMA sa mga Ampatuans during the 2004 presidential elections. Remember the hello garci case? Sa Magindanao nakakuha ng landslide si GMA at maraming cases doon na zero si FPJ kahit based on survey (before election) na maraming FPJ followers doon. and based on one of UP professor's assessment of the 2004 election in that region, the result was highly abnormal and statistically impossible. Di nga lang makareklamo yung mga FPJ followers doon kasi alam nila tigok sila pag nag ingay pa sila. Kaya nga rin malakas ang loob ni Andal Jr. na patayin yung 64 na tao kasi paniwala nya hawak nya sa leeg si gloria dahil sa nga utang na loob at pandaraya na ginawa nila para manalo si gloria. kung gaano ka lakas humingi ng cut si abalos sa ZTE-scandal, ganon din ka lakas ang loob ni Andal kasi paniniwala nila hawak nila sa leeg si gloria.

MANILA, Philippines – Imposing martial law in Maguindanao was a case of “overkill and over-reaction,” a political leader in North Cotabato said, hours after Gloria President Macapagal-Arroyo declared military rule and suspended the writ of habeas corpus in the province.

“It’s a case of an overkill and over-reaction on the part of government,” North Cotabato Vice-Governor Manny Piñol, a former Arroyo ally, said in a telephone interview early Saturday.

Malacañang placed Maguindanao under martial law as contained in Proclamation 1959, to effect the arrest of members of the influential Ampatuan clan and their followers who were allegedly responsible for the massacre of 57 persons, mostly women from the rival Mangudadatu family, their followers, and journalists on November 23.

Piñol said he doubted the real objective of Malacañang in declaring martial law in Maguindanao, which is governed by Governor Andal Ampatuan Sr. The main suspect in the carnage, Datu Unsay Mayor Andal Ampatuan Jr., has been detained in the National Bureau of Investigation in Manila
since November 27.

“If the objective is to arrest the Ampatuans, they could have done that if they really wanted to without resorting to martial law,” Piñol said.

According to Piñol, he had received word that the Ampatuans had threatened to “tell all they knew about electoral cheating” if President Arroyo “stops supporting them.”

"Ang sabi ng ibang mga miyembro ng Ampatuan clan, kung bibitawan sila ni Pangulong Arroyo, sasabihin din nila ang lahat [Some members of the Ampatuan clan said that if President Arroyo disavowed them, they would tell all],” Piñol said.

In August, Piñol said he warned of an impending bloodbath between the warring clans after the Ampatuans raided the homes and confiscated the firearms of the Mangudadatu families.

When only 1 Ampatuan was imprisoned, many Pilipinos are shouting & believed that all the Ampatuan clan are involved. And they are criticizing that the government is slow & afraid of the Ampatuans. Now the government took action against the Ampatuan clan, now they are saying overkill.

Ano ba talaga mga TSONG. Tayong mga Pilipino ang hirap unawain. Really our attitude need not a democratic way of government. Based on our attitude SAUDI LAW must be applied to us.

Dapat nga talaga MARTIAL LAW ang Pilipinas sa habang panahon para tayong mga Pilipino tumino! If we are law abiding citizen why should we be afraid of MArtial Rule. Yun lang mga lumalabag sa batas, mga super mayaman na questionable at pulitiko na mlakas mangurakot sa kaban ng bayan ang takot sa Martial Law.

My dear fellow countrymen, Where is our country now compared to our asian neighbor countries. We claim we are world class, magaling etc. but where are we? Do we harvest that pride and claims? Are we really that GOOD? If so, does other countries see that as what we claim?

Wag na nting e-compare sa Japan after WWII both countries are devastated. See Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia wag na Singapore. Those 3 countries have no more OFW in the Middle East Philippines nlang at India. The latest massacre, are that we are religious as we claimed? The only catholic country in the fareast. We killed to the extent brutally massacred our defenseless countrymen. They prayed 5 times a day, IMAGINED that praying 5 times a day, super religious then kidnapping, beheading innocent civilians & foreigners then brutally massacred their/our defenseless brothers & sisters.

Being the only Catholic country in the fareast & praying 5 times a day, our country should be super blessed by the Lord Almighty. But why our country is still in the 3rd world & still considered developing country and like this? We are BARBARIANS! And poor till now.

We need DISCIPLINE ! As what during the Marcos Regime says, " Sa Ikauunlad ng Bayan DISIPLINA ang Kainlangan"!
