nope, money is not the end goal. growth and power is. money is just a by product. ;)

Now that's crazy, these Chinese people are way over their head.

Maybe they believe the world cannot survive without them. Let's see if they will attack the Japanese coast guard.

AFAIK, Taiwan is also china a.k.a republic of china or ROC but its territories are occupied and governed by ousted rivals of the party governing mainland china a.k.a. peoples republic of china or PRC. both are claiming to be the one and only china, aka one china policy. mukang stalemate tong dalawang to dahil malakas din yung taiwan, maraming allies kasama ata japan at ready lumaban in case puwersahin ng mas malaki at bulling PRC ang reunification. wondering kung ano kaya iniisip ng ROC ngayon?

Why generalize the sins of a few as the sins of all those who live in a country?

The question is, how will the world live without "Made in China" goods?
Na Sun Tzu kse ng America ang China eh, wala naman pera sa industrialization, Money is in R&D. Now that China is experiencing exponential growth - I call it the China bubble. The made in china goods will no longer be cheap anymore. At least when Japan peaked at gumrabe ang inflation sa Tokyo,, they have given to the world toyota, Nissan, Honda, toshiba, Sony, Panasonic, Casio. talo pa nga ng Sokor ang China eh, at Least Korea has samsung, hyundai, lg.

ginamit Lang natin ang china for cheap goods, but as economic superpower capable of suppling world class products and names -paktay sila talaga.

All we have to do is sit down and observe them rip their country to pieces. Kaya siguro desperate ang military nila to pick a fight against anyone, coz ano yun eh delaying the inevitable - create an atmosphere of patriotism / nationalism so that it's citizenry will not turn against themselves.

Kaya I pity them and I dont even buy this crap everyday that China is a superpower and we should all be afraid. It's the other way around

China isn't ready yet. Give it a year or two. Their military research is at blazing pace at the moment. Even faster than western counterparts. example: The SAC's "F-60" mockup went in public last year. Almost a year later(4 days ago), the actual prototype(J-31) is leaked.

You can tell, they're getting ready for an armsrace. The only field they are considered lagging behind is their domestic fighter engine. They still rely on older Soviet era turbines because Russia refused to sell them the relatively newer AL-41 knowing they'll just "copy" them much like how they "copied" the Su-30MKK and turned them into J-15. Of course, they got away with it by changing the panel cuts...

So far, China already has AESA radars installed in their J-11's years ago so I doubt they are technologically inferior.

Well, the Chinese doctrine relies heavily on redundant radars and SAMs. IIRC, they call it shashoujian or “assassin’s mace”.
Damn, son! Where'd you find this?

Wala silang panama even if you give them 10 years just to modernize their Army, Navy, and Airforce. Who said Japan will be facing them alone? Kaya nga may stratetic alliance eh.

Ewan lang kung kelan but IMO it's inevitable talaga.

kaya mahalaga na kahit sa mahina or malaking bansa eh manggulo sila, they should be taught a lesson. Mahirap na yung lumaki ulo. :D

i agree with this, they don't have the capabilities like other modern war driven countries like russia and usa. they can't deploy as well as those countries plus they don't have the experience to do so. just watch the training of their soldiers matatawa ka na lang. sa idf lang uurong itlog nung mga yan, tingnan mo russia ginanyan din nila pero pinaputukan ng mga russians yung mga ship na pinadala nila pero wala sila na gawa kasi alam nila di nila kaya russia. plus usa will surely help japan because of their military treaty.

Japan to ask China to pay for protest damage
    September 20, 2012

TOKYO: Tokyo will ask Beijing to pay for damage caused to its diplomatic missions during sometimes violent anti-Japanese protests over disputed islands, the government said on Thursday.

The announcement came as authorities in China appeared to be tamping down public anger, banning demonstrations even as leaders kept up the rhetoric.

“Regarding damage to our embassies and consulates, we plan to demand compensation (from China) as it is an issue between the governments,” Chief Cabinet Secretary Osamu Fujimura told reporters in Tokyo.

Fujimura said any damage to property owned by Japanese businesses in China should be handled there under domestic law.

But in a conciliatory note, Fujimura said Tokyo would reach out to China.

“The prime minister is considering sending a special envoy as part of our government's efforts in seeking to resolve the issue cool-headedly through various diplomatic routes,” he said.

“But at this point, no specifics such as who would be appointed or how we would send the person is decided yet,” he added.

The protests all but disappeared on Wednesday, with the Japanese embassy saying demonstrators had been told not to return.

Dissident Chinese artist Ai Weiwei said on Thursday they had been orchestrated by officials.

The row centres on the Tokyo-controlled Senkaku islands in the East China Sea, which are claimed by Beijing under the name Diaoyu.

Japan's coastguard said on Thursday it was monitoring 10 Chinese ships — four marine surveillance ships and six fisheries patrol boats — in waters near to the chain.

There had been 14 in the area on Wednesday.

Asia's two largest economies have wrangled about the islands since the 1970s, but the row flared in August after pro-China activists landed on one of them.

Tensions escalated dramatically after the Japanese government bought three of them from their private owners.

All drama.

Wag the dog nga. Nung Fil-Chinese war of 2012, may scandal yung party... so cover it up with an international conflict.

    Meron nanaman ngayon... Japan na!

Next up... *** scandal in the Party... China versus Korea naman!

    Ang pagbalik ng comeback...
