Ayon sa nakausap kong active member ng INC kaya daw sila umalis kasi napagkasunduan na daw na hindi na itutuloy yung Investigation ng DOJ sa INC.

When you say "church" i take it as the people, not the heirarchy of priests and bishops.

Not really. Sino ba nakikinig ng sermon kung di nagpapatawa yung pari? Halos wala. Lalo na pag pastoral letter ng cbcp ang sermon e di ba yung mga manang lang sa harap ang nakikinig. At yung matagal na nilang gusto, yung bawal ang contraception e ultimo yung nagbabasa ng readings naka-pills. Halos lahat ng mga church laymen and laywomen ng catholic church tig-2 or 3 lang anak. Huwag masabi-sabi ng pari na natural birth control yun ha. Maybe not in written laws because our political leaders still bow to the church, but the ordinary catholics are not. I believe most catholics would prefer there is a divorce law, and would even agree to a law allowing same *** marriage.

i refer to affairs of the state, and how certain faiths' representatives influence the decision-making process, in their favor..
let's face it... any group that has enough voting power.. enough key influential people.. enough money.. can and do influence government. overtly or covertly.

For a while I fought the urge to post re this....

Kaya lang my office is about 50meters from ground zero ng rally.... (Crossing)..so we were one of the most affected... since Friday.. most of my staff were late.... I had to burn so much gas getting to office.... I have had enough....

Nung Sunday... dumami pa.. and there there already those trying to get into our compund to use the CR's and buy food etc... saludo naman ako sa managment.. they locked down the premises and very few got thru.... eto yung mga actually may bibilhin sa mga restos in our building... yun nga lang pag kabili hun natulog.... asal squatter talag....

there were even those who tried to argue with the guard wehn they tried to get in... sabi ng guard.. private property po ito... ayun sa sidewalk natulog..(we have a large parking are kasi that is covered)

I have never hated anyone or any entity... pero all these changed in the last 4 days..... so for me I'm making it my personal crusade....

- One of my roles is doing final interviews for my company.... Pag INC.... turned ka agad...(yes kahit qualified..there are many more diyan)
- If ever I am assigned staff who are INC...and they get out of line.... by the book... verbal/ writted/ final written and term na agad
- kung nakakaperwisyo ako I apologize agad....pero from now on if I know INC and na inconvenince ko...talk to my hand...


ill make it my personal crusade to make sure the INC i encounter that being an INC is a disadvantage....

Their leaders, broadcasting to everyone that they have a clout in the political arena.

And what does the SAF44 Issue has to do with their quest for (a one-way) "separation of the church and the state"???

MANILA - ABS-CBN TV anchor/reporter Anthony Taberna is on leave from the network, following developments within Iglesia ni Cristo (INC), where he is affiliated.

In a statement Monday, ABS-CBN Integrated News head Ging Reyes said the company respects Taberna's "personal decision."

"We respect Anthony Taberna's personal decision to take a leave of absence from his duties as a TV anchor/reporter and Radio commentator to avoid any conflict of interest in the coverage of issues surrounding the Iglesia Ni Cristo, of which he is a member," Reyes said.

Reyes added that ABS-CBN News considered Taberna's "wish to separate his roles as an active INC member and a journalist to avoid compromising his objectivity."

On Sunday, Taberna attended the INC protest at EDSA and spoke before hundreds of INC attendees. He later announced on his Instagram account that he is*taking a leave of absence.

Taberna co-hosts ABS-CBN's Umagang Kay Ganda and radio dzMM's Dos por Dos.

"Ako po bilang aktibong miyembro ng Iglesia ni Cristo ay nasa isang sitwasyon na hindi maaaring maging credible sa pagtalakay sa isyung may kinalaman dito. Mayroon po akong paniniwalang pangrelihiyon at mayroon din naman akong tungkulin bilang mamamahayag, bagay na hindi po maaaring pagsamahin ngayon dahil sa tinatawag na conflict of interest," Taberna said.

Last week, Taberna's newly opened cafe was found riddled with bullets. Police initially said intimidation was the prime motive for the*strafing incident.

Taberna's uncle, expelled INC Minister Isaias Samson, has filed a criminal complaint of serious illegal detention against the INC's Sanggunian members. The Department of Justice (DOJ) received the complaint but has yet to taken any action on it.
