Dyan ata papasok yung galing o husay sa pag craft or wording ng impeachment complaint... The way it is stated, parang nag expose lang ala senate or house blue ribbon committee hearing...since nasanay mga senador at kongresista natin na court of public opinion lang ang laging laban nila...

Kung pinag isipan ng husto yung articles, their work during the impeachment trial proper is a lot easier...

niky, try to watch the replay nung show ni tina monzon palma (Talkback yata title) last monday evening. you may forget about one guest (son of Maceda yata) and maybe the other one if you are pro pnoy(libarios). but i think maganda yung sinabi ni ex sandiganbayan Palatao(who happens to be the one who issued a warrant of arrest kay erap at si erap din ang nag upo). parang sinabi nya na yung ganung info ay dapat wag ginagawang primary evidence. yun dapat ay mga tips on how you will gather evidence and plan how will you show evidence na pagdating sa dulo e lalabas yun. in other words dapat talaga strategy at hindi bara bara lang.

Excerpt ng section 2 ng Law on Secrecy of Bank Deposit.

are hereby considered as of an absolutely confidential nature and may not be examined, inquired or looked into by any person, government official, bureau or office, except upon written permission of the depositor, or in cases of impeachment, or upon order of a competent court in cases of bribery or dereliction of duty of public officials, or in cases where the money deposited or invested is the subject matter of the litigation.

Yeah. It's pretty obvious that even if there is a case that can be built, the prosecution didn't have enough time to build a strong one beforehand. The technicalities are obviously strong enough to destroy the case completely.

Even worse for the prosecution, the whole country can see, via the trial, that if Corona is acquitted, it's all their fault.

    -

The only outcome favorable to this administration is that Corona's reputation is well and truly sullied, and further cases built upon the findings of this trial may prosper against him or his wife... (future prosecutors will know the evidence is there... they just have to find the proper ways to expose it...).

Of course, it is likely no longer possible to carry out an impeachment procedure with the exact same complaint... and Congress may no longer be in the mood to support another one.

Are we doomed to suffer this every single time? To see all the Imeldas slip through the cracks? Is it as Rick Moranis once said: "This is why Evil always triumphs... because Good is dumb."

Justice, ika nga. If you're not going to do it properly, don't :****ing do it at all.

    Nabulabog yung prosecution...

Watched a portion of the prosecution press conference, and once again, they're attempting to make this a trial by publicity... Sheesh, I understand that the lawyers among them might not have practiced in a while, but what was the point of getting private prosecutors if they're just as incompetent as the congressmen?
